Get excited gamers, because GameStop just released its Black Friday ads and it looks like it’s going to be a very happy holiday for the gaming folk. We think the most noteworthy Black Friday deals at GameStop are its Door Buster sales, like the Xbox 360 Elite Holiday Bundle and the PS3 120GB Holiday Bundle—both are priced at $299.99 and come with three free video games. GameStop’s Door Buster sales start at 6am, when the store opens, and go until 11am on November 27th. Also, all pre-owned games are by two get one free (B2G1).

Here are some other great Black Friday deals from GameStop:

Batman Arkham Asylum (PS3)–$39.99

Batman Arkham Asylum (Xbox 360)–$39.99

This (Oculus) Meta Quest 2 Black Friday deal ends soon — get it now
Meta's Quest 2 can track your hands allowing you to manipulate virtual objects.

Sadly, many excellent Black Friday deals are over, but if you've missed out, luckily there are still some great deals floating around. For example, if you've been wanting to get into VR and have been waiting for a Black Friday deal, this Meta Quest 2 is still on sale at Walmart for $349, rather than its usual $400 price tag. Even better, Walmart has thrown in two free games; the excellent Beat Saber, which will help keep you active and fit, and Resident Evil 4.. If that seems like a great deal to you, then we encourage you to grab it quickly rather than waiting for Cyber Monday deals; we've already seen a lot of similar sales from Black Friday expire and don't know if they'll show up on Cyber Monday.

Why you should buy the Meta Quest 2 + Beat Saber + Resident Evil 4 bundle
The Meta Quest 2, formerly known as the Oculus Quest 2, is a standalone virtual reality headset that has dominated Steam. As it doesn't need to be linked to a powerful gaming PC, it's a relatively affordable way of getting into VR, and there's no risk of running into wires and cables. While there have already been comparisons between the rumored Meta Quest 3 and Meta Quest 2, the latter remains the prime choice for VR gaming, until at least the announcement of its successor. the headset comes with a pair of Touch controllers

This Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II Black Friday deal is still active
Five main characters from Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II.

The Call of Duty franchise has been one of the biggest players in gaming for a while now, and if you grew up in the early 2000s, you're familiar with the iconic Modern Warfare campaigns. Well, the game's latest iteration is already a smash hit and a lot of fun, and if you want to pick it up for Xbox or PlayStation, Walmart has it discounted down to $55 from $70, which is great for a newly released game. That said, you better hurry and pick it up if you like it because we've already seen many Black Friday deals expire. It's also better not to wait for any Cyber Monday deals since we aren't sure if we'll even see a deal on Modern Warfare II, let alone one as good as this.

Why you should buy Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II
There are generally two ways to enjoy Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II: online multiplayer or the campaign. First, let's start with multiplayer, a significant improvement on the last entry into the series, with several new modes and excellent gunplay. There's also a lot of customization in guns, allowing a lot of fine-tuning that's new to the franchise, and since we want to start you off with an advantage, we've ranked every gun on Modern Warfare II. That's not the only new thing there, with some great new and upgraded Killstreaks and Perks for you to play around with. That said, the maps sometimes feel cluttered due to having tons of entry points, and a large number of alleyways and small places to navigate create many sightlines that are hard to keep up with.
