Grand Theft Auto 5 comes to PS4 and Xbox One in November, PC in January

Grand Theft Auto V will be released for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on November 18, 2014, Rockstar Games confirms. A PC version (Windows only) will follow on January 27, 2015.

The game’s arrival on more powerful hardware naturally means a boost to the visuals, with the press release promising a higher resolution presentation and increased draw distance. So the image will be sharper and you’ll be able to see pieces of the environment from further away. That’s not all for new additions, though.

You can also expect new activities, weapons, vehicles, and wildlife; denser traffic; additional weather effects; and an enhanced foliage system. The in-game radio also gets an upgrade, with over 100 new songs and new mixes from each of the DJs. GTA Online‘s lobby size also gets a boost, with up to 30 players supported in the PS4 and XB1 versions of the game. No word on the PC lobby sizes.

Most of the details haven’t been revealed, but you can expect rare versions of existing vehicles, a newly maneuverable blimp, and the return of fan-favorite rides like the Dukes and the Dodo Seaplane. Also added is a new wildlife photography activity and additional shooting range challenges. All of the previously released GTA Online add-ons will be supported at launch “with much more to come,” according to the press release.

Those that pre-order the game get a $1 million cash infusion that can be spent across both GTA V and GTA Online. We’re told that more details will be coming soon on both the PC release and the process of transferring your GTA Online characters from last-gen hardware to PC/PS4/XB1.

There used to be a time when Rockstar would publish a new Grand Theft Auto game nearly every year. That's a far cry from the current release schedule, which consists of multiple Grand Theft Auto V rereleases, but that hasn't stopped us from thinking about the next installment, which has yet to be officially unveiled. Sure, we've got Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy -- The Definitive Edition to enjoy in the meantime and GTA: San Andreas for Oculus Quest 2 to look forward to, but what about Grand Theft Auto 6?

While GTA 6 hasn't actually been announced (at least by name), we do know Rockstar is working on "a new entry in the Grand Theft Auto series," as confirmed on Twitter. We can infer this will be GTA 6, but keep in mind that the company has been known to release non-numbered installments, such as Vice City and San Andreas.

But keep in mind: Cheats stop you from earning trophies and achievements while they're live, so keep them for playtime only.
How to use GTA 5 cheats
There are a few ways to enter GTA 5 cheat codes. The first and easiest is to use your cellphone. You can open your cellphone by pressing Up on the D-pad. From there, enter the corresponding number, and the cheat will fire. You can also classically input cheats by following a specific button combination. The combinations are the same across PlayStation and Xbox, but we've split them up to account for their different button-naming conventions, so it should feel more natural reading and entering them.
