GTA IV Expansion to Feature Biker Gang

GTA IV Expansion to Feature Biker Gang

Delivering on its promise of downloadable content to extend the Grand Theft Auto IV storyline, Rockstar Games has let details of its first expansion slip. The Lost and Damned will deflect the storyline from the game’s original protagonist, Niko Bellic, to focus on Johnny Klebitz, a member of the biker gang The Lost.

According to USA Today, which broke the story, the expansion will still take place in Liberty City, but will explore new portions of the city and offer hours of more game play as Klebitz.

“Johnny is a very different character than Niko, with a very different background,” Rockstar’s vice president of creative development, Dan Houser, told USA Today. He also promises a cameo for Niko in Damned, though, and claims that many of the mysteries from the first game’s story will be explained.

The expansion will launch of Feb. 17 as a download through Xbox Live, where it will remain exclusively thanks to a prior $50 million deal with Microsoft. Pricing has not yet been announced.
