How to join the Destiny: Rising alpha test

A new chapter in the Destiny saga is about to arrive, but it is coming in an unexpected form. Destiny: Rising is a new game that will let us take the sci-fi action RPG we know and love on the go as a new free-to-play mobile experience.

Developed by NetEase Games, with full blessing from Bungie, this isn’t a port or cheap mobile knock-off game but a fully-featured Destiny experience. Acting as a prequel and alternate history to the games, Destiny: Rising promises all the PvE and PvP action we expect from the mainline titles. If you’re a little skeptical that it can be done, you’re not alone. While there’s no release date for the game quite yet, you can still test it out early to see if Destiny: Rising can live up to Bungie’s standards by applying for the upcoming alpha test. How to join the Destiny: Rising alpha test

To join the Destiny: Rising alpha test you need to visit the official website here and select the Pre-register button.

From here, simply fill out the form with your mobile device information, region, and email address. NetEase recommends you have an Android running Snapdragon 845 or newer or an iPhone 8 or newer for the best performance. After that, all you can do is wait to hear if you are selected.

The Destiny: Rising alpha test is scheduled to begin on November 1, with no end date currently announced. All players who pre-register will be entered into a pool, and an unknown number of participants will be selected at random to join the alpha and will be contacted via email. There’s no advantage to registering early, but we don’t know when registration will close or when participants will be drawn, so it would be safer to do it sooner rather than later.

There are a few ways to get Double XP tokens, but not all of them are free. We'll start with the ways you can earn them in-game before talking about the more costly options.
Prestige
Who deserves a Double XP token more than someone who has grinded all the way to level 55? Once you hit max level and opt to Prestige, you will get a one-hour Double XP token, which is the longest length they come in.
Follow Call of Duty's socials
The official Call of Duty X (formerly Twitter) account regularly posts opportunities to earn several Double XP tokens if you engage with the post. This is a quick and easy way to snag some free tokens.
Purchase the C.O.D.E. Endeavor Tracer Pack
Our first paid option is the extra DLC Endeavor Tracer Pack. Besides some cosmetics, you also get two Double XP tokens (one player and one weapon) that last an hour each.
Drinks and pizza
The two main brand promotions with Black Ops 6 this year are tied to Monster Energy and Little Caesars. Buying a marked can or purchasing a qualifying item will get you a small handful of rewards that include Double XP tokens.
Battle Pass
The Black Ops 6 battle pass isn't out at the time of this writing, but we do know that it will include Double XP tokens among its rewards. There will be both a free and paid version of the pass, but details about what can be unlocked in each version are not yet available. To be safe, we're assuming you will need to buy the pass to get these tokens.
