Leaked artwork confirms Crysis 3

This news shouldn’t really shock anyone following the success of Crysis 2, but a leaked piece of box art seems to confirm that Crysis 3 is in development.

This would make the first semi-official piece of confirmation that Crytek was working on the sequel. The leak came from EA’s Origin service itself, and also claimed that the game would be available for the PC, PS3, and Xbox 360. The info and image were quickly pulled, but not before it hit NeoGAF.

For now, all we are left with is the tantalizing (albeit unsurprising) news that Crysis 3 is on the way. No word on when we might expect it, but E3 is coming soon…

In the meantime, Crytek is hard at work on several other titles, including a free-to-play FPS called Warface, the Kinect action title Ryse, TimeSplitters 4, and Homefront 2—and those are just the announced games.

New Monument Valley 3 details emerge as preregistration opens today
Nor stands on a statue in Monument Valley 3.

Pre-registration has opened for Monument Valley 3, Netflix’s next mobile game. Ahead of the announcement during Netflix Geeked Week, Digital Trends learned more details about the upcoming sequel and got a glimpse at two of its chapters.

Monument Valley 3 is the latest entry in the popular mobile puzzle series, which hasn’t had a new installment since 2017’s Monument Valley 2. The latest chapter comes to mobile via Netflix on December 10. Ahead of that release, Netflix will release the first two games on the service on September 19 and October 29 respectively.

Dishonored 3: everything we know so far
Key art for Dishonored

The Dishonored series has always been a critical darling, and it has cultivated a small, but passionate fan base. The original game got some DLC, a sequel in Dishonored 2, and one last entry called Death of the Outsider in 2017, but since then the franchise has remained dormant. The studio's latest game, Deathloop, shares some DNA with Dishonored, but is certainly its own beast. However, since the success of that new IP far exceeded anything Dishonored had achieved, many fans felt we'd never return to Dunwall to see the conclusion of the story. That sentiment only got more traction after Arkane Austin was shut down in 2024, but it was actually Arkane Lyon that made the Dishonoredgames, so hope isn't quite dead yet. Thanks to the recent leak of some court documents related to the Activision purchase by Xbox, which owns Dishonored publisher Bethesda, new hope has appeared for the existence of Dishonored 3.
Release window

According to the leaked documents, which we should still take with skepticism until an official public statement is made, Dishonored 3 is currently planned for a "FY24E" release. FY24E is shorthand for Fiscal Year 2024, which runs between April 2024 and March 2025. Considering how close we are to the end of that planned time frame with no announcement, we assume this timeline has been pushed back at least a year.
Platforms
Again, this is just speculation until the game is officially confirmed, but considering that Xbox owns publisher Bethesda, Dishonored 3 is almost certainly going to be an Xbox console exclusive with a PC port. However, it may only be a timed console exclusive as more Xbox games are coming to PS5. It should also be available as a day one Game Pass title, as all Xbox first-party titles are.
Trailers
As mentioned, Dishonored 3 isn't even meant to be known about publicly yet, so no marketing exists for the game. All we have is the name.

Is Baldur’s Gate 3 cross-platform?
A Baldur's Gate 3 character lights the way.

The biggest CRPG of 2023, if not ever, promises a huge adventure that you are encouraged to play cooperatively with up to four friends. While online play is expected in the modern era, Baldur's Gate 3 surprisingly also supports split-screen co-op on every PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X as well, meaning you can run an entire campaign with a friend side-by-side. As great as all that is, the vast majority of people will likely want to play with a friend in the comfort of their own homes, which might mean a PC and console player will want to team up. Is that possible in Baldur's Gate 3? Here's a quick rundown of whether this is a cross-platform game.
Is Baldur's Gate 3 cross-platform?
In short, no, Baldur's Gate 3 will not allow for cross-platform play just like Elden Ring or Palworld. If you are playing on PC, then anyone you want to play online with will also need to be on PC, and the same is true for PS5 and Xbox Series X/S. While this is true for now, it is possible that Larian Studios may add cross-platform play in a future update, but for now, it is safer to assume it won't come and make your purchasing decision accordingly.

The only small silver lining here is that Baldur's Gate 3 does have cross-platform progression. This means that if you purchase the game on one platform, you can carry your save to any other. While not ideal, it is at least an easier way to move between platforms to play with a friend if that's your only option.
