The perennially delayed cooperative heists will arrive in GTA Online as part of the first update after the November 18 launch of Grand Theft Auto V on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. The announcement came as an aside in a recent post on Rockstar Newswire that shares some player statistics from GTA Online‘s first year and change.

Cooperative, online heists were a touted gameplay feature during the lead-up to the game’s 2013 release, but have been consistently delayed for the last year. Even without heists, players have had no shortage of activity. Over 33 million players around the world have played almost 6 billion jobs, and created almost 10 million.
The upcoming re-release of GTA V for PS4, XB1, and then PC in January features expanded content. As a series first it also introduces a first-person gameplay mode, so you’ll be able to get up close and personal with those re-vamped, HD textures.
