You can get Fortnite skins by buying Marvel comics

Fortnite and Marvel are no strangers to collaboration, so it comes as no surprise that the two properties are teaming up for a crossover comic series. What does come as a surprise is that you can get exclusive in-game cosmetics by buying issues, adding a little incentive for Fortnite players to venture into the world of comics.

FORTNITE X MARVEL: ZERO WAR #1 Trailer | Marvel Comics

Fortnite: Zero War is the new comic series that unites the worlds of Marvel and Fortnite, bringing the new cast of Fortnite‘s Chapter Three to Marvel’s comic book universe. Unlike the the in-game Fortnite crossovers where Marvel characters are thrown into the mix to become marketing icons, there’s an actual reason for the clash in the comics. But the companies haven’t left a lucrative marketing opportunity on the sidelines, as shown by the redeemable cosmetics.

By collecting first-print issues of this five-part comic series, players can redeem codes for various cosmetics that can be used in the game. These cosmetics include skins, sprays, pickaxes, loading screens, and more. There is also a final bonus outfit that comes from collecting all issues and redeeming all the previous cosmetics.

Marvel has confirmed that you don’t only have to buy physical paperback editions of the comics to unlock the exclusive cosmetics. Players can also go to the official Marvel Comics app to purchase issues of Fortnite: Zero War.

The series begins running in June and is set for monthly releases.Anyone wanting to chase down all the cosmetics within the pages should be on the lookout from then until October 2022.

You can get NBA 2K23 and more with PS Plus this June
Donovan Mitchell in NBA 2K23.

The three games that make up PlayStation Plus Essential's June lineup have been revealed. There are any major console exclusives or no releases included; instead, there's NBA 2K23, a Jurassic Park tie-in title, and an indie game inspired by classic samurai films.

NBA 2K23 needs little introduction, as it's the latest entry in 2K's long-running, annualized basketball video game series. This latest entry stands out from the ones that came before by deepening the controls an AI further, as well as adding a Jordan Challenge mode that chronicles Michael Jordan's career. Beware of some pretty intrusive microtransactions, though.
Also available this month is Jurassic World Evolution 2, a theme park management game that swaps out roller coasters and other festivities for dinosaur-related attractions. The management genre is a surprisingly great fit for the Jurassic Park IP, and this game even provides a bit of story context to fill in the gap between Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom and Jurassic World Dominion.
Finally, there's Trek to Yomi, a very cinematic indie game. It's stylized like a classic black-and-white samurai action movie, which makes sense as it's telling a revenge story about a pupil trying to avenge their dying master. If you didn't play this game through Game Pass, it's now available on a Sony subscription service as well.
This certainly isn't the most exciting game lineup, but it still provides a wide variety of gaming experiences. NBA 2K23, Jurassic World Evolution 2, and Trek to Yomi will be available through PlayStation Plus from June 6 until July 3. Make sure you download May's PS Plus games before then too.

Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 gets wild gameplay trailer, but no release date
Kraven the Hunter appears in Marvel's Spider-Man 2.

Insomniac Games showed off a new gameplay trailer for Marvel's Spider-Man 2 during Sony's May 2023 PlayStation Showcase. The action-packed clip showed off its villain, the iconic Kraven the Hunter, but it didn't give the game a release date. It's still only scheduled for fall 2023.

The new trailer gave us our closest glimpse at Sony's upcoming release we've seen yet. It begins with a very cinematic clip showing off classic Spider-Man villain Kraven the Hunter. From there, we flash-forward a bit to New York City, where we see Peter Parker and Miles Morales working together to save the city. Parker has a fancy new black suit with a lot of wild powers. In the trailer, we see multiple black spider arms coming out of it and slamming enemies.
