If you’ve been wanting a PlayStation 5 but haven’t been able to get one this holiday season due to shortages, then good news — you may have the chance to buy one at Target tomorrow.

Target is reportedly restocking its supply of PS5s tomorrow, as told by staff from Target to Spiel Times and reported by Tom’s Guide. The staff said that they expected the consoles to only be going to certain stores though, with some stores getting between 10 and 15 machines and some getting none. This information is regarding stores in the U.S. Midwest, but the staff also said they’d heard similar things from other staff in Target stores on the West Coast, South Central, and South-Eastern areas.

The timeframe of the restocks is reported to be between December 27 and December 29, so start checking Target tomorrow if you want to score yourself a new console. However, remember that the PS5 is not available to buy in-store in Targets, so there’s no point in turning up in person. You’ll need to make a purchase online through Target’s website for collection at the store, with drive-up collection available to stay safe and distanced.

The Spiel Times says that Target typically restocks between 3 a.m. and 7 a.m. ET, and that it has restocked the PS5 typically between 5 a.m. and 7 a.m. ET in the past. So you’ll have to make it an early morning if you’re hoping to grab an elusive next-gen console.

The PlayStation 5 has received stellar reviews for speedy hardware enabling fast game loading times, with a new controller with enhanced haptics and an attractive modern design. With launch titles like Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales, the remake of Demon’s Souls, and Sackboy: A Big Adventure, the console has been a hit with gamers — or at least with those who have been able to get their hands on one. The console has been difficult to purchase due to high demand due to the pandemic and interrupted supply chains this year.

Experts are saying that the PS5 might not be easily available to purchase until the summer of 2021, so if you want one soon, you’ll have to keep an eye out on restocks like the one at Target tomorrow.

All cross-platform games (PS5, Xbox Series X, PS4, Xbox One, Switch, PC)
Two squads of heroes clash in an Overwatch 2 trailer.

Cross-platform support is becoming more important in the world of video games. Multiplayer hits like Call of Duty: Warzone 2.0 and Fortnite have pushed crossplay into the limelight, and now most AAA multiplayer games release with at least partial cross-platform support. Finding every cross-platform game is no easy feat, though, so we did the hard work to bring you a comprehensive list of games that support crossplay.

Unfortunately, there aren't any rules when it comes to crossplay, so each game handles the feature a little differently. To make matters more confusing, certain backward-compatible games on the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X still support crossplay on the most recent hardware, even if there isn't an official release for that hardware.

The PlayStation 5 Pro is official and promises to make the best PS5 games even better. However, those improvements don't come cheap. But this is way bigger of an investment than an accessory, so is the Pro worth that extra cost, or are you better off sticking with your base model and installing a new SSD? Let's put the PS5 and PS5 Pro head-to-head and see which makes the most sense for all the upcoming PS5 games you have your eye on.
PS5 vs. PS5 Pro specs

Not every single detail of the PS5 Pro was revealed, but we did get all the major points during its initial announcement. The Pro model has had several performance boosts over the base model that will not only make future games look and possibly run better but also boost existing ones that receive a patch and thousands of backward-compatible PS4 games. Here's a quick rundown of all the specs that have been confirmed.
