Dead Rising 2 and Dead Rising 2: Off the Record.

Capcom revealed that all three games will be remastered as part of its upcoming Dead Rising 10th Anniversary Edition, with multiple releases planned across retail and digital channels.

Dead Rising originally premiered for the Xbox 360 in 2006, and has remained exclusive to the platform in the decade since. Taking control of veteran photojournalist Frank West, players explore a zombie-infested mall in search of survivors while using improvised weaponry to fend off surrounding undead hordes.

The 2010 sequel Dead Rising 2 introduced a new playable character and improved many key gameplay mechanics, while Dead Rising 2: Off the Record featured a remixed campaign starring the original game’s returning protagonist.

To commemorate the 10th anniversary of the series, Capcom will release remastered versions of all three games for the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 that feature “all DLC costumes and upgraded graphics presented in 1080p at 60 frames per second.” The titles will be available digitally at $20 apiece, while a Dead Rising Triple Pack featuring all three games will launch at $60.

Capcom additionally outlined plans to reissue the series at retail, with Dead Rising and Dead Rising 2 slated to see physical releases for the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 in September. A physical version of Dead Rising 2: Off the Record is conspicuously absent from Capcom’s announced lineup, and may end up skipping a retail release.

Remastered versions of all three Dead Rising games will be available digitally via the PlayStation Network and the Xbox Marketplace on September 13. A physical version of the original Dead Rising will premiere on September 13, while Dead Rising 2 will hit retail on September 27.

Monster Hunter Rise is coming to PlayStation and Xbox, minus cross-platform saves
Monster Hunter Rise Monster

Capcom announced that Monster Hunter Rise is coming to PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S on January 20, 2023. It'll land on Xbox Game Pass as well. Cross-saving will be limited though, as players won't be able to take their data between every platform.

As Monster Hunter Rise is not supporting cross-save between different ecosystems, that means players will be unable to transfer their progress of the game from other platforms that the game was already released on. Monster Hunter Rise was first released in March 2021 for Nintendo Switch, so anyone who played there won't be able to transfer their save to PlayStation or Xbox.
