Snoop Dogg squads up for Call of Duty: Ghosts DLC

snoop dogg new hbo series

This may well be the greatest thing to ever happen in video games: Snoop Dogg has lent his voice to the Call of Duty: Ghosts multiplayer announcer role in an upcoming DLC pack.

The add-on inserts Snoop’s dulcet tones into every multiplayer match, with the rapper egging you on and letting you know when your ballistic vests — “fine-ass threads,” he quips — are ready. The official Call of Duty community site also notes that another voice pack is coming as well, with Hollywood legend R. Lee Ermey filling the announcer role. For those unfamiliar with Ermey, he was the hard-nosed drill instructor that abused Vincent D’Onofrio’s “Private Pyle” in Full Metal Jacket.

The same COD community page post also runs through an assortment of other upcoming personalization packs that tweak the appearance of your guns and squaddies. The two voice packs will cost $2.99 apiece and all of the other DLC items are $3.99 or less. You can find a full rundown at the source link. All of these items are coming to Xbox 360 and Xbox One on April 22, with additional platforms to be added “at a later time.”

ISO 45 in Warzone.

The ISO 45 SMG is the newest weapon added to Call of Duty: Warzone during Season 4, alongside the Tempus Razorback rifle. This SMG is, as expected, ideal for close-range encounters in Warzone, and it's perfect for the new Vondel map. As always, building weapons with the best attachments can be an overwhelming process, but this guide is here to help. This is the best ISO 45 Warzone loadout.

Call of Duty made Crash Team Rumble a better multiplayer game, says dev
Key art for Crash Team Rumble

Crash Team Rumble initially feels like a unexpected diversion for the long-running Crash Bandicoot series, but it’s a lot more fun than you might expect. I went hands-on with Crash Team Rumble at Summer Game Fest Play Days, and once I got the hang of its Wumpa-collecting match objectives, I had a blast discovering winning strategies with my teammates. Still, it feels like a pretty significant shift for developer Toys for Bob, which spent the 2010s working on Skylanders, Spyro Reignited Trilogy, and Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time.

The best Tempus Razorback loadout in Warzone
A character holding the Tempus Razorback in Warzone.

With the launch of Call of Duty: Warzone Season 4 comes the new Tempus Razorback assault rifle, which is available for free as part of the battle pass. You'll want to use this weapon mainly in fast-paced midrange situations, as it can be a little harder to control when firing at long-range. Still, you can build it to function well at around 45 meters or so, making it a competitive choice on the smaller maps. This is the best Tempus Razorback build in Warzone.
