One of the best ways to test out a newly purchased graphics card is with a new AAA game, but that’s not always easy to afford if you’ve just spent a couple of hundred dollars on the hardware. Fortunately a lot of graphics cards come with bundled games, and Nvidia’s GTX 1070 and 1080s are no different, as select versions may soon come with a brand new copy of Watch Dogs 2.
Although not announced officially by Nvidia, Videocardz has it on good authority that it’s a bundle we’ll see very soon. Anyone trying to pull the wool over our eyes would have had to have made the rather swanky artwork to go with the promotion — which is more dedication to a dull gag than we can imagine. But still, bear it in mind.
Still, it’s likely that this is indeed an upcoming promotion, which means that Watch Dogs 2 — which we liked, but didn’t adore — codes will be available to anyone buying the top-end 1080 and 1070 Nvidia graphics cards, as well as desktops and laptops that utilize those particular graphics processors (GPU).

Since Watch Dogs 2 doesn’t launch on PC until November 29, this bundle is unlikely to go live until near that date. We are also told that there will likely be a limited number of keys, so if you want to take advantage, get in there early.
Of course if you are considering buying a new GPU, it is worth considering AMD’s side of things, especially at the lower end of the budget scale. Even so, if you are thinking about buying a GTX 1080 or 1070, you are budgeting much more than most AMD cards cost.
For a comparable top-end card you’ll probably need to wait for Vega, which is likely to debut at the very end of this year or early next. If successful, it could have a dramatic effect on pricing, so it could be worth holding off. But that’s always the way in the graphics industry — there’s always something better just around the corner.
