Altec Lansing last week revealed more details about their 2006 line up of headphones. One of the more interesting products mentioned is the already released AHP612, a wireless model priced at $149.95.
The AHP612, said Altec Lansing, makes use of the omni-directional 900MHz wireless spectrum to deliver high fidelity sound wirelessly within a reported range of 150 feet. Features of this model include 40mm sound drivers for a wide frequency response, closed ear-cup design, self-adjustable padded headband and leatherette ear pads, a headphone base which recharges the headphones, a listening time of up to eight hours and onboard ear-cup controls for power, scan, mute and volume.
Altec Lansing, besides releasing a range of ear phone, over-the-head, behind-the neck and active noise reduction models, also announced the late summer arrival of the high-end AHP812 noise cancellation headphone system for $199.95.
