Update 10/24/24: This marks the beginning of our coverage of OLED TV deals for Black Friday 2024 (besides what we’ve already covered in our other early Black Friday TV deals coverage) and so far, we like what we see. While I personally would have like to have found something cheaper than $700 for our low end, there weren’t any that we could really recommend at this time. At the same time, there were massive savings on TVs that we consider to be the best of the best going on already. This space will be exciting to see develop in real time as we get closer to “real” Black Friday deals in late November.

This year the big deal is starting on your shopping early. The cat’s out of the bag about Black Friday (officially November 29, or the day after Thanksgiving) not really starting that late anymore. What that means for you, is that you can start shopping great Black Friday deals now. We’ve already collected fantastic Black Friday Apple Watch deals, Black Friday gaming laptop deals, and (of course) Black Friday TV deals. Here, we’re focused on OLED TVs, and LG, Sony, and Samsung are really stepping up to the plate, especially for this early in the season. In reality, there is no reason to wait if you see a deal you like on a TV you’ve been wanting.

Large savings are to be found on this tiny offering from LG. It contains LG’s latest processing tech for intelligent upscaling and the smartest views of any TV. You’ll like this one if you’re interested in the latest TV tech without the big TV size (or cost). For just $700, this is a fun way to get into 2024 TVs.
Sony 55-inch Class Bravia XR A80L — $1,200 $1,700 29% off
One of our favorite OLED TVs for its all-year-round affordable pricing. Considered an “entry-level set” by our best OLED TVs guide, you can feel comfortable buying it if you are just now venturing into higher quality TVs and want to get your feet wet before diving in headfirst — especially so at this price of $1,200.
LG 65-inch Class C4 OLED Evo — $1,497 $2,700 45% off
Rank #2 on the best OLED TVs list, and a huge contender for best deal at 45% off, this could be the TV deal that’s most worth your time for all of Black Friday. Our LG C4 OLED evo review makes a point of just how easy it is to set this TV up and have great out-of-the-box quality, no fiddling with settings required. This is a layperson’s premium TV that doesn’t sacrifice quality.
Samsung 65-inch Class S95C — $1,900 $3,300 42% off
Considered to be Samsung’s best OLED of 2023, the S95C is already at a generous 42% off for early Black Friday, saving you a generous $1,400. Its got excellent upscaling, deliciously bright colors, and our reviewer said it was “the best TV Samsung has ever made” in our Samsung S95C review last year.
LG 65-inch G4 evo — $3,000 $3,399 12% off
To give Samsung’s S95C some true competition, this is LG’s top OLED. We can’t express just how bright this TV is. Actually, we can, as it goes up to 1500 nits at peak brightness, though our full LG G4 evo review explains in full detail that it isn’t this that makes the G4 the brightest TV around, instead its the advanced AI processor that analyzes the image on a pixel-by-pixel basis as opposed to traditional zone-based analysis, allowing the TV to have higher overall brightness. This is a fine TV and one of the best models you’ll see.
Samsung 65-inch Class S95D — $3,000 $3,400 13% off
The S95D is the newest and best from Samsung. The S95D’s anti-glare tech is interesting and makes the best value for the buck in a brighter room. Check out the full S95D review for how that might affect your viewing experience, as it depends on your viewing station. But, if you don’t have a dark viewing environment, this TV very well could beat out the titan that is the S95C.
LG 83-inch M3 Wireless — $7,500 $8,000 6% off
This is a giant version of LG’s “wireless” TV with a $500 discount. If you position things correctly, as explained in our LG M3 review, you can connect to your TV in a way that is indistinguishable from HDMI through a wireless box. With such a big TV, that could help you out big time in your viewing area organization.
How to pick an OLED TV for Black Friday
Picking an OLED TV for Black Friday is not that different than picking an OLED TV on any other given Friday. A good OLED is a good OLED no matter when you buy. Just as when you pick up OLED TV deals regularly, look at the brand and make of the TV, check our reviews for expert opinions (when we have a TV review, we’ll mention it in the writeup), and make sure you can afford it.
The only difference you might ascribe to it being Black Friday is that, generally speaking, some TVs might have better deals at this time than they do at other parts of the year. That means that if you aren’t too specific about which TV you get in a down-to-the-model sense, you might consider going for something a bit nicer than you’d usually aspire to.
How we chose these OLED TV Black Friday deals
We want to get you a great price on a great TV. That means looking at a sort of Venn diagram and pinpointing where the quality-to-price ratio balances out the best in your favor. It also means we’re looking everywhere. You’ll find a lot of Best Buy deals at this time, but you’ll also find a ton of deals coming directly from manufacturers. It’s all in an effort to get you the best price.
Moreover, we’re looking all over the spectrum here. When we compare OLED TVs vs QLED TVs we, like you, generally prefer OLED TVs. However, they do have one big downside — they can be pricier. With this in mind, we aren’t necessarily going to be finding a ton of budget TVs in this category, but we are still looking through product listings to find products across a wide variety of price ranges. You should be able to find an on-sale OLED TV that you enjoy without spending outside of your budget at this time.
