Consumer electronics company GPX announced two new line ups of products at CES 2006 which build upon well known product brands of other companies. These line ups include items related to Crayola and iPod.
The GPX Crayola line up, which is targeted towards kids, includes the following items which will appear over the course of the year: a 13†TV/DVD combo with V-Chip parental controls, a 256MB MP3 player with dual headphone inputs, a CD boombox with interactive features and a dry erase board, a CD/radio player which allows a pattern or photo to be displayed on the back side, a clock radio with color changing night light and an on the go radio which is durable and water resistant.
The iPod line up, meanwhile, has been dubbed by GPX as iLive. Compatible with a wide variety of Apple’s digital audio players, items in this new product family include a clock radio which recharges the iPod and allows users to wake up to music, a 2.1 channel CD/AM/FM stereo music system, a 75 watt home stereo system, an amplified speaker docking system and an under-the-cabinet stereo system with weather broadcasts and an iPod docking station.
