The second season of Daredevil premieres in just under a month, and after releasing a full-length trailer for the season earlier this week, Marvel and Netflix have now posted a short — but very cool — teaser for the second major story arc of the acclaimed series.

Set against the sound of police sirens and weapons being readied, the 15-second video shows Daredevil (Charlie Cox) in his new costume, chained up to a chimney on the roof of a building overlooking the city he loves. Straining against the chains wrapped around him, he struggles to free himself while the city seemingly falls into chaos behind him.

The official synopsis for the second season of the series reads as follows:

“Just when Matt thinks he is bringing order back to the city, new forces are rising in Hell’s Kitchen. Now the Man Without Fear must take on a new adversary in Frank Castle and face an old flame – Elektra Natchios.

Bigger problems emerge when Frank Castle, a man looking for vengeance, is reborn as The Punisher, a man who takes justice into his own hands in Matt’s neighborhood. Meanwhile, Matt must balance his duty to his community as a lawyer and his dangerous life as the Devil of Hell’s Kitchen, facing a life-altering choice that forces him to truly understand what it means to be a hero.”

Cox returns as the series’ titular vigilante hero, blind attorney Matt Murdock, who moonlights as street-level superhero Daredevil. The second season also features the return of Deborah Ann Woll as Karen Page, Elden Henson as Foggy Nelson, Scott Glenn as Stick, and Rosario Dawson as Claire Temple. The Walking Dead actor Jon Bernthal will make his debut as Frank Castle, the heavily armed vigilante known as The Punisher, and Elodie Yung will also be introduced during the season as Elektra Natchios, Murdock’s former love interest, who herself leads a deadly secret life.

All 13 episodes of the new season of Daredevil are scheduled to premiere March 18, 2016, on Netflix.

Gus starts a hybrid revolution in Sweet Tooth season 2 trailer
Christian Convery in Sweet Tooth.

Any similarities between Netflix's Sweet Tooth and HBO's The Last of Us may be unintentional, but they are hard to deny in the latest trailer for the upcoming second season of the former. In The Last of Us, the cure to a plague that devastated humanity was in the body of a young girl named Ellie, and Sweet Tooth season 2 is also running with the idea that the human/animal hybrids can also heal the world -- but only if they are sacrificed in the process. While Ellie never got to make her choice, Sweet Tooth's Gus (Christian Convery) has made his decision to stand up to his captors. And if he isn't careful, it could be the Last of Gus!

Sweet Tooth season 2 trailer: the next Last of Us?
Christian Convery as Gus in Sweet Tooth.

You may see the 10-year-old kid with antlers from Netflix's Sweet Tooth and think "that's a weird-looking show." And you would not be wrong, because Gus, the titular "Sweet Tooth," is far less bizarre than many of the other human and animal hybrids in the story. The series is based upon Jeff Lemire's comic of the same name that takes place in a world crippled by a pandemic. When most of humanity perished, the hybrids emerged at a rapid pace. But as seen in the new trailer for Sweet Tooth season 2, the remaining humans are still a major threat to Gus and his fellow hybrids.
