You have some cash to drop on a top notch DVD player? Say, $6,500? That’s the price Classé Audio, a Canadian manufacturer of high end audio-video components, is charging for their new Delta series CDP-300.
The CDP-300, according to a company press release, plays DVD-Video discs, DVD-Audio, standard CDs, DualDisc, and discs encoded with MP3, WMA and AAC audio formats. The newest Classé also handles Video-CD, S-VCD and JPEG picture discs.
The CDP-300 offers touchscreen control and video preview on the front panel. The video preview allows audio hounds the ability to enjoy their music without projectors or other display devices active, which Classé says can cause noise that interferes with the tunes. It also utilizies a slot-loader mechanism for reading discs.
