It might be weird to think of it this way, but with a TV at this price it helps more to think of what it's missing than what it has. The good news is there isn't much absent here. This is a portable projector for gaming that's essentially a Samsung TV in projector format. Unlike a lot of high end projectors, there isn't a lot to do when setting up your Freestyle. You just point it and shoot at a wall or ceiling and you're good to go with a corrected rectangular screen at 1080p. The rear of the Freestyle isn't merely cooling vents, either, it's a decent audio speaker that saves extra room. While this 50-inch Insignia F30 Series may be on the more budget-oriented side, that doesn't mean it's missing some important features, such as HDR10, which provides you with a lot better contrast than a traditional TV. You also get the higher 60Hz refresh rate, where you'd usually find 50Hz on more budget-friendly options, and it does mean that it's perfect for gaming on a PS5 or Xbox Series X or Series S since most games on those consoles tend to be locked at 4K at 60Hz anyway.
