We’ve got rovers driving around on mars, access to communication and media virtually everywhere, and cars powered by freaking laser beams. So why is it that conference calls and the hardware that make them possible still seem to be trapped in the 90’s? It’s a little hard to believe that one of the biggest nuts to crack in 2014 is trying to develop a big-ass phone that actually works. Do we have to wait for Apple or Google to get onboard before we can get a service that won’t make us all feel like morons?
The video below has a little fun with the issue, and if you’ve ever been on one of these calls, chances are you’ve experienced one, if not all of these problems. To be fair, a lot of these issues are user error. Still, there has to be a better way.
