If there’s one bad thing about Girl Scout cookies, it’s that they’re seasonal. The khaki-sashed girls only peddle their addictive wares once a year, so unless you do some serious stockpiling, your Thin Mint supplies probably look pretty paltry come summer.
Such droughts could be a thing of the past with Wicked Cool Toys’ Girl Scouts Cookie Oven. It’s a working oven, though because it’s meant for children (and not cookie-obsessed adults), we imagine it’s closer to Easy-Bake Oven technology than anything else. There’s a window so you can watch your cookies bake and a warming station for mixing and melting frosting and toppings. Along with the oven, the $60 kit comes with Thin Mints mix, a spatula, a baking pan, and a measuring tool. The goal is to let “aspiring bakers experience the hands-on fun of making their own Girl Scout Cookies,” according to the toy maker.

In addition to Thin Mints, there are mixes for PB Sandwich, Trefoils, Chocolate Peanut Butter, Coconut Caramel, Chocolate Chip, Sugar, and Oatmeal. No Tagalongs or Samoas. We repeat: no Tagalongs or Somas. These refill packs cost $7, or you can get deluxe packs, which mix and match flavors such as Thin Mints and PB Sandwich or Trefoils, Chocolate Shortbread, and Lemon Cookie.
If you don’t want to go through the effort yourself, you can gift your neighborhood Girl Scout with the oven, plus the $130 On-the-Go Wagon or $80 Cookie Stand, so she can do the work for you and earn some extra badges.
The ovens go on sale this fall. Hopefully they’ll have perfected the magic for the Samoas mix. At least give us the Samoas!
