Depending upon which popular greeting card site you visited to pick up your note celebrating your status as dad, you either got your quick love fix or fell asleep waiting, just like that time you started snoring on the sofa during the fourth quarter of a Sunday afternoon football game.
Metrics released today by Webmetrics, a web traffic monitoring firm, determined that Hallmark.com was the best performing site, while Americangreetings.com experienced the slowest average page loads at 5.14 seconds and 86.4 percent uptime for the day.
Specifically, Hallmark, E-Cards.com and 123Greetings.com all achieved 100 percent uptime and fast site performance, with average page load ranging between two to three seconds. Americangreetings.com and Bluemountain.com both experienced timeout errors throughout the day. American Greetings maintained 86.46 percent uptime during Father’s Day, while Blue Mountain did slightly better at 90.97 percent. Blue Mountain received the second fastest performance among the e-greeting sites monitored, with average page loads of 2.93 seconds.
