Both models of the Peloton Bike are heavily discounted for Prime Day

Prime Day deals are ripe for the picking today and even fitness enthusiasts can get in on the action. Peloton makes some of the best exercise bikes on the market, and both the Peloton Bike and the Peloton Bike+ are seeing massive discounts for Prime Day. In fact, both are seeing their lowest prices of the year, which makes your home gym something worth shopping for if you’ve been browsing the best Prime Day smart home deals. Either of the Peloton Bike models will make a great addition to both your home gym and your workout routine, and if you’re looking to round out the entirety of your home workout setup they will fit nicely amongst any of the best treadmills or best total gyms.

The original Peloton Bike brings game-changing cardio to your home gym. It offers a workout experience that goes beyond cycling with its 22-inch HD touchscreen. It’s on this screen you’ll interact with a lineup of more than 50 instructors and track your progress to see how you’re improving from class to class. Such stats include speed, resistance, heart rate, and power, among other things. When it comes to gathering data, the Peloton Bike is compatible with Apple Watch or any Android watch running WearOS 3 or higher. This is an exercise bike designed to slip into any home gym. It’s small-space friendly with a compact footprint of just 4-feet by 2-feet. The seat, handlebar and screen are all adjustable to different heights.

Peloton Bike+ — $2,145, was $2,495

Peleton

The Peloton Bike+ is the exercise bike option if you’re looking for more than the Peloton Bike has to offer. The Peloton Bike+ offers a 24-inch HD touchscreen with 360-degrees of movement, which will allow you to seamlessly shift from bike to floor for additional exercises your on-screen instructors will put you through. Resistance is chosen with a manual control knob, but the Peloton Bike+ also offers an auto-resistance option to match instructor cues. Sound comes through four-channel front- and rear-facing stereo speakers, as opposed to only two channels of sound on the original Peloton Bike. The Peloton Bike+ will go along nicely with any of the best exercise tech.

There are a lot of great exercise bike options out there, and while both the Peloton Bike and Peloton Bike+ are seeing their lowest prices of the year by a significant amount, you can also compare Peloton and NordicTrack for some other options if saving big isn’t your top priority with your home gym.

This portable food warmer is the Prime deal you didn’t know you needed
A black Crockpot electric lunch box on a white background.

If you're tired of eating cold food for lunch, don't worry -- big tech has your back again. There's a "smart" version of everything out there, including your lunch box. During Prime Day deals you can get the Crockpot Electric Lunch Box for $32, down from its usual $45. This matches the lowest price it has ever been at, so if you've ever been interested, now is the time to buy. If you're interested but not convinced, read on to see some cool features of this portable device.

Why you should buy the Crockpot electric lunchbox during Prime Day
This Crockpot lunch box is probably best described as a portable slow cooker. Unlike a thermos, it's not designed to carry food that is already hot. This is the ideal use of the electric lunchbox: Put cold leftovers or slightly uncooked food in it in the morning. Carry it with you to the office. Plug it in and turn it on about an hour before. Enjoy your hot and ready food shortly. For all intents and purposes, it's a small Crockpot with a handle on the top. The convenience comes from the ability to use it as both a carrying case and a warmer. No messy transfer of chili from thermos to bowl to microwave. No precarious Tubberware that's liable to explode if you hit a pothole. From the time you put it in the Crockpot to the time you eat it, it's safe, secure and mess-free.

AmazonsBasics AA batteries being inserted into a game controller.

Prime Day deals provide the perfect opportunity to buy those pesky household items that you never want to spend money on. We are so close to a AA-battery-free world, but it just hasn't happened yet. Fortunately we have a rechargeable option, so we can spend less money and throw fewer batteries into landfills. Right now you can get a 12-pack of Amazon Basic rechargeable batteries for just $13 thanks to a 46% discount on Prime Day. This deal will likely only stick around for the two official days of the sale, so if your battery drawer is running low, grab these today.

Of course, there's not much I can tell you about batteries that you don't already know. These Amazon Basics brand AAs have 2,000 mAh storage capacity. That's lower than a traditional alkaline battery, but it's enough power to last for a good three to four hours of continuous use. Then the rechargeable factor comes in. You can recharge these batteries about 1,000 times before they die out. Think about how many batteries that will save you -- and how much money. Let's do some quick napkin math. 1,000 recharges... alkaline batteries cost around one third the price of a rechargeable... factor in the difference in storage capacity... It could be as much as $300 in savings over a single battery's lifetime. A lot less waste too.
