Ahh, life at a dot-com. Ask yourself – are you a master chef? Do you think you have what it takes to feed the Google hungry? Now’s your chance to test your mettle as the Silicon Valley-based search engine company announced they are seeking two executive chefs to bring good food to the Googleplex.
A press release put out by the company said they are seeking two people for “the development and continual refinement of an eclectic menu capable of suiting every Googler palate, from vegan entrees to pad thai, grilled burgers, and wood-fired pizza-all while using organic ingredients whenever possible.†When Google gets enough resumes, they will invite the top candidates to their campus to prepare a meal for a tasting committee (how do I get on this?).
The top four finalists will compete in a Google Chef Cookoff, with the two folks left standing at this Internet reality cooking experience being offered executive chef jobs.
“These two chefs will play an important role in managing the company’s growing appetites,” said Sergey Brin, president, Technology, Google Inc. “We welcome all culinary engineers to try out for our exceptional team.”
