Apple and Samsung just settled their 7-year legal battle

Samsung and Apple have settled a contentious seven year legal battle over patent infringement. The settlement comes less than a month after a District Court ruled Samsung owed Apple more than $500 million dollars in damages for copying patents related to the iPhone. Neither party disclosed the terms of the settlement.
