The Motorola Droid Bionic is rumored to be the first dual-core 4G LTE phone on Verizon. The problem is, Motorola is being withholding. The phone was unveiled back at CES in January, but we haven’t heard or seen anything official since.  completely redesigned and is rumored to hit shelves in August. That’s all we know. A couple weeks ago, a low resolution ad leaked showing the phone, but we didn’t know if it was official. It looks like it might have been. Two Amazon listings for a Standard Dock and a Vehicle Navigation Dock have been spotted, and they both have promotional images that show what appears to be a Droid Bionic, reports AndroidCentral.

The first image is above and the car mount is below. Unfortunately, the price isn’t yet listed and the descriptions don’t provide much new information. We still cannot tell how large the screen is or if the phone is using Motorola’s NinjaBlur, though we assume it is. Droid-Life has dug up a rear picture of the Standard Dock that shows that the rear of the phone will have that classic Droid bump to it and feature an 8MP camera. The phone’s battery cover also appears to be the entire rear shell as there are no lines on the back like the Droid X2.

Finally, it seems that workers at retail shops claim that the Droid Bionic will hit shelves on August 4, 2011. Though we can’t verify this date, the release will have to come sometime soon, as Verizon is now including a blank spot where the Bionic will be in some of its in-store displays.

Comparison of Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite and MediaTek Dimensity 9400 processors.

The flagship mobile silicon race has entered its next phase, one that will dictate the trajectory of Android hardware heading into 2025. Merely weeks after MediaTek wowed us with the Dimensity 9400 system on a chip (SoC), Qualcomm also pulled a surprise with the reveal of the Snapdragon 8 Elite.

But this time around, the battle is not as straightforward. Discolored line on your new Kindle? You aren’t alone
Amazon Kindle Colorsoft Signature Edition on a table.

The new Kindle Colorsoft Signature Edition is the first full-color e-reader, and a lot of bookworms couldn't wait to get their hands on it. Sadly, many people are reporting the display has a discolored yellow area at the bottom of the screen. The problem is so widespread that the Kindle Colorsoft dropped to an average review rating of 2.6 out of 5, although it does remain the bestselling e-book reader at the moment.

The cause of the discoloration isn't clear. Some users report that it only happens when using the edge lighting feature on the Kindle, while others say it appeared after a software update. Either way, the yellowing is a problem, especially on a device that Amazon has marketed as being great for comics and graphic novel fans. It's hard to enjoy the colorwork in a comic when it's distorted.
