Looking for an Android Marshmallow tablet with LTE that won’t break the bank? Alcatel may just have the perfect option for you.
The new 7-inch POP 7 LTE tablet was built for T-Mobile, and packs a 1,024 x 600 pixel display. That’s not the best part though — the best part is that it comes at a tiny $130.
Apart from the display, the device features a 1.1GHz Qualcomm quad-core Snapdragon processor, along with 1GB of RAM, 8GB of storage, and a Micro SD card slot, so you can expand the storage if you need to. The device launches with Android 6.0 Marshmallow, which makes it one of the few tablets to include the latest version of Android, especially at this price. Also included are a 5MP rear-facing and a 2MP front-facing camera.
As mentioned, the best thing about this tablet is the price, sitting at only $130. Or, if you want to break that down even more you can pay a tiny $0 down and $5.42 per month for 24 months. Easy!
It seems as though the device was released as a replacement to the Alcatel OneTouch Pixi 7, and as a 7-inch tablet, it’s a little more portable than the 10-inch devices out there, making it perfect for someone who wants to use it while traveling.
It’s likely that we’ll see more low-price tablets being released in the near future — many components used in these devices might be a few years old, but that doesn’t make them incapable. Not only that, but the demand for tablets has been in decline over the past few years, and tablet makers are looking to find new markets to sell devices to.
If you’re interested in getting the device for yourself, you can head to the T-Mobile online store, or go buy it at a brick-and-mortar T-Mobile store.
