Branding itself as “the exclusive wireless retailer of Amazon Prime,” Sprint is now giving its customers the option of adding a Prime membership to their monthly cell phone bill for $11 per month. And if you sign up in time (which is to say, in July), you’ll get two months for free. Afterwards, customers have the option of continuing to pay the monthly fee, or canceling the subscription altogether.
To sign up, Sprint says, you’ll need to visit www.sprint.com/amazonprime, or call 1-(800)-SPRINT1, or to talk to a human in person, head on over to your friendly neighborhood Sprint store. Once you’ve added Amazon Prime to your account, you’ll receive a text message with an activation link so you can complete your registration process.
Once all that is taken care of, you’ll immediately be privy to all the benefits of Amazon Prime, from movies to books to super-fast deliveries. Further, Sprint notes, “Customers can also access preloaded or downloaded Amazon apps for easy access to Prime content on compatible smartphones.”
And seeing as Prime Day will occur this year on July 12, there’s really no time like the present to give yourself, well, a present.
