Apple iPadOS 15: Everything you need to know
2021 Apple iPad with pencil.

Apple’s iPadOS 15 software update released on September 20, bringing the various iPads much closer to being stand-alone devices for productivity. The new iPad software makes multitasking easier to grasp and adds features that simplify working with multiple apps, like Quick Notes and center window overlays for some apps.
Multitasking menu
Apple has been improving the iPad's multitasking steadily since the first iPad Pro arrived in 2015. While iPadOS 15 doesn't revamp what multitasking looks like, it makes the existing multi-app configuration easier to navigate.

Split View and Slide Over are still the centerpieces of Apple's multi-app strategy, and they’re easier to find than ever. Now sitting at the top-center of every app is a three-dot menu. Selecting that menu pops up three icons: Full Screen, Split View, and Slide Over.

Apple Watch Series 7: Everything you need to know about the latest smartwatch
Apple Watch Series 7

The new Apple Watch Series 7 is now available, and we're putting it through its paces for our review. While the Apple Watch Series 7 doesn't feature a major redesign, it has a larger display with a curved edge and some beautiful new models and finishes. If you're thinking about ordering, here's everything you need to know.

Apple Watch Series 7 release date and price
The Apple Watch Series 7 became available to order starting on October 8, so you can order one now. It will be available in stores on October 15. The price starts at $399, the same as the outgoing Series 6. Apple will continue to sell the Apple Watch SE for $279 and the Apple Watch Series 3 starting at $199, though we strongly advise against buying the Series 3 at this point.
Ordering the Apple Watch Series 7
If you plan to order an Apple Watch, Apple's online store is the best place. Customers ordering from Apple have access to the exclusive Solo Loop and Braided Solo Loop stretchable silicone bands, and they can choose their preferred case and band combination, so their watch will be perfectly suited to their tastes right out of the box.
Apple Watch Series 7 design
The Apple Watch Series 7 doesn't have the redesign that was hinted at in the leaks -- remember, leaks aren't always accurate -- but it does have some subtle changes. The Retina screen is 20% larger than on the Series 6, with a 1.7mm bezel that's 40% thinner than before. The visual change comes from a 2.5D curve around the screen, so it cascades over the edge of the body and is covered in a crack-resistant crystal that's thicker for increased durability.
