The keynote address at WWDC 2015 stretched over 2 hours and recapped the latest improvements and innovations that Apple will roll out to its operating systems in the coming months. OS X El Capitan made it’s debut along with iOS 9 and Watch OS 2. Seamless integration between the platforms is of course baked into all three. El Capitan features improves spotlight search, Safari enhancements, and multitasking features.

iOS 9 will feature an improved Siri personal assistant that promises to provide intelligence without sacrificing security. Transit times for a handful of major cities will also be added to Maps, Apple Pay is expanding, a new News app is on the way, and Notes will see upgrades. Multitasking on the iPad now offers both side by side app use and picture in picture video.

Mindfulness
WatchOS 8 takes the long-standing Breathe app that's been around since WatchOS 3 and expands it into a broader Mindfulness app. This adds a new Reflect section to help folks take some time to sit back and think happy thoughts.

The new Mindfulness app also still includes the features of the previous Breathe app, which has remained basically unchanged since its debut five years ago. According to Apple, however, Breathe has gotten more popular -- which really isn't surprising considering the year we've all had.
