google-nexus-one-flatThere has been a lot of hype over the first “Google phone,” the Nexus One. But, just like you, we have to ask is this new smartphone all it’s cracked up to be? There seem to be some pretty consistent opinions floating around the Web from those lucky folks who got their hands on a prerelease Nexus One. Michael Arrington of TechCrunch reported in his review of the device that he had been using it since mid-December and was quite impressed. Massive OnePlus 13 leak just revealed everything about the phone
Official OnePlus 13 product render in three colors.

At this point, it's common news that the OnePlus 13 will launch in China tomorrow. Obviously, we would get all of the specs on the phone at launch, but the Chinese telecommunications authority TENAA (similar to the Federal Communications Commission in the U.S.) recently shared an almost complete specs list. Since it's coming from an official agency, this is information that you can pretty much take at face value.

According to the certification, the OnePlus 13 will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset and will come with a 4.1GHz CPU, and have a 6,000mAh battery. We already knew most of these details from previous leaks, but it's good to see them confirmed.

The Google Pixel 9a will reportedly get a much-needed battery boost
Pixel 9a 5K render.

News about the Google Pixel 9a budget phone continues to emerge, and the leaks are promising. According to a new report from Android Headlines, the new phone will feature a larger battery than its predecessor, the Pixel 8a.

The Google Pixel 9a is expected to have a battery capacity of 5,000mAh, which is an increase of 11%. Phone battery capacities typically rise between 3% and 4% yearly, meaning this could be significant news. The Pixel 8a has a 4,492mAh battery, which Google promises should last over a day between charges. That's about what we found during our review. It will be interesting to see whether the Pixel 9a offers improved battery life because of the larger battery and/or enhanced efficiency.

Here are some of the specs for the OnePlus Open 2
OnePlus Open in Emerald Dusk open halfway showing home screen.

The OnePlus Open was a heck of a foldable phone that scored a four out of five in our review, and now we have exciting news about its successor. The OnePlus Open 2 is scheduled to launch sometime in 2025 and promises to bring serious upgrades with it, including an even slimmer design. That's saying something, especially since the original OnePlus Open is already incredibly thin (just 5.8mm) when unfolded.

The news comes courtesy of tipster Digital Chat Station on Weibo and through GSMArena's translation. A previous rumor stated that the OnePlus Open 2 might be less than 10mm when folded, lending credence to the idea of an ultrathin phone.
