Based on a slew of leaks, we’re expecting the One A9 (which has been code-named Aero) to look very much like the iPhone 6S with mid-range specs. It could sport a 5-inch display with a resolution of 1080p (1920 x 1080), an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 617 processor, 2GB of RAM, and a 13-megapixel rear camera. We’ll know soon.

Although it’s a mid-range device, the One A9 could be one of the first non-Nexus phones to debut with Android 6.0 Marshmallow. It could also sport even faster charging via Qualcomm’s Quick Charge 3.0.

The HTC One A9 is expected to be the star of the show, but it is certainly possible that HTC might have a few other surprises up its corporate sleeve. Could the much anticipated Vive virtual reality headset make an appearance?

Which Google One subscription is right for you? Google’s paid plans explained

Google One gives you online cloud storage that works across Google Drive, Google Photos, and Gmail. If that sounds at all familiar, it's because Google One was previously known as paid storage for Google Drive, which has been around since 2018. Right now, with Google Drive, you can still get 15GB of free storage for your photos and files, but if you want more than this, you'll need to subscribe to Google One.

Isn't Google One the same as Google Drive?
On June 1, Google capped unlimited free storage in Google Drive at 15GB. So if you want more storage, Google One is the solution. You can access Google One through the dedicated app or alternatively through your browser. It's worth noting here that you can't sign up for Google One if you have a Google business account. Business users will need a paid Google Drive subscription for Cloud storage, as Google One is only compatible with personal accounts.

Sony’s HT-A9 promises fully immersive Dolby Atmos from four wireless speakers

Today, Sony has pulled the wraps off two new Dolby Atmos-capable home theater sound systems. And though they're both designed to offer folks highly immersive sound and a simple installation, the way they approach that challenge couldn't be more different. The $1,300 HT-A7000 looks like a traditional soundbar, right down to the optional wireless subwoofer and surround speakers. But the $1,800 HT-A9 uses a set of four bookshelf-sized independent wireless speakers that can be placed anywhere in a room and use their onboard microphones to sense and respond to furniture, walls, and other acoustic features. Both will be available in September/October from major retailers. Here's a deeper look at each system.
Sony HT-A9: $1,800

The HT-A9 is a totally new concept in home theater sound, although it's clear that Sony took its inspiration from both Sonos and WiSA. It's comprised of four identical wireless speakers that are equipped with a tweeter, a midrange driver, a bass duct, and an up-firing driver. They communicate with a control box that is no bigger than the size of an Apple TV. The control box acts as a simplified A/V receiver, with one HDMI input, one HDMI ARC/eARC output, an Ethernet jack, and a center channel output (more on that in a moment). The control box connects the system to Wi-Fi, and it's compatible with Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa, plus Chromecast and AirPlay 2 are built-in.
