Jabra, a maker of hands-free communications products tied to mobile phones, today announced a new Bluetooth headset. The BT150, set to be available shortly, is priced at $59.
The BT150 headset, Jabra said, supports Bluetooth 1.2 and 1.1 enabled devices including headset and hands-free profiles on mobile phones. It comes in a stylish, black over-the-ear design and features a standard answer/end call button and volume control. The headset provides up to six hours of talk time, up to 110 hours of standby time and weighs 0.56 ounces.
“The design of a Bluetooth headset is just as important as the performance because people want the convenience of a headset, but also need to look good at the same time,” said David Hogan, Senior Vice President of Global Sales and Marketing for Jabra, in a statement. “With the launch of the Jabra BT150, we are fulfilling an important customer segment that includes those who require an easy to use, high-quality headset that is affordable and looks good.”
