Jabra, a maker of hands-free communication products, today announced they’d begun shipping a new wireless Bluetooth headset for the fashion conscious. The JX10, which comes with a desktop charging cradle, USB charging cable and carrying pouch, is available now for $179.
The JX10, said Jabra, was designed for them by Danish design company Jacob Jensen. It has a minimalist shape, is silver colored, measures less than one and a half inches and weighs less than an ounce. Features of the JX10 include Bluetooth wireless connectivity, DSP digital sound enhancement, automatic volume control, one-touch pairing and up to six hours of talk time on its rechargeable battery.
“No longer seen as niche, Bluetooth mobile headsets are now experiencing mass market appeal with consumers seeking headsets that go beyond functionality and act as an enhancement to their own appearance,” said David Hogan, Senior Vice President of Global Sales & Marketing for Jabra. “The Jabra JX10 is spearheading this trend, providing technical superiority as well as being cool and stylish to wear. Design has always been a central part of our product development process, earning us world famous acclaim. The design of the Jabra JX10 is no exception and can only help boost the popularity and adoption of Bluetooth mobile headsets even further.”
