LG Electronics and mobile provider Cingular Wireless today introduced the CE500 cellular phone. This MP3 playing phone is set to be exclusively available at Best Buy for a limited time at a price of $99.99 with a two year contract.
The CE500 comes in a clamshell design and features a built in MP3 player as well as a TransFlash memory card. With this combination, users can store up to 64MB of their music and listen to it through the phone’s dual stereo speakers.
Other features of the CE500 include a built-in VGA camera/camcorder with flash, tri-band capabilities, an external color LCD, talk time of up to seven hours, standby time of up to nine days and four hours, customizable MP3 player software skins, a POP3 email client and personal organizer functions.
