Motorola Refreshs RAZR Line

Motorola today refreshed their stylish RAZR line of cell phones as they revealed two new colors and two new versions of the popular handset. These new models – the RAZR V3i, V3c, RAZR in Pink and RAZR in Blue – will be availablein various regions around the world and through various carriers by the end of the year.   The most interesting of these phones – and the one generating the most buzz – is the RAZR V3i. Thisparticular model is compatible with Apple’s iTunes online music store in the same way that Motorla’s ROKR phone is. Other features of the RAZR V3i include a large internal color screen, quad-bandtechnology, a 1.23 megapixel digital camera with a full-screen viewfinder and 8x digital zoom, Bluetooth wireless technology, an external display, airplane mode and a hot swappable TransFlash memorycard which be used for storage and playback of downloaded iTunes music.   As for Motorola’s other new RAZRs, the V3c’s main features include a 1.3 megapixel digital camera, EvDO technologysupport, CDMA support and Bluetooth support. The Pink and Blue RAZR models function much in the same way the current RAZR does and are targeted towards “a select group fashion elite and Hollywood‘it’ girls”.   “We wanted to evolve the Motorola RAZR without compromising the integrity and philosophy of the original design,” said Leslie Dance, Corporate Vice President of Global Marketingand Communications. “These four new phones complement the millions of RAZRs already in use, enabling consumers to choose the experience that best fits their personal style and mobile needs.”
