When Motorola decides to make announcements about new services and products, they definitely go all out. At their annual MOTONOW new product review yesterday, the mobility products company gave news about things ranging from next generation mesh networks to an extremely thin mobile QWERTY phone.
Besides the initial announcement regarding the new Oakley RAZARWIRE Bluetooth headset sunglasses to be distributed by Cingular Wireless, here are some of the other interesting things Motorola has in the works:
- Moto Q: The new Moto Q phone, Motorola said, is the thinnest, lightest QWERTY mobile phone to be introduced. It delivers voice, email and entertainment and features the company’s thin RAZAR-style design found on some of its other phones. It will be powered by Windows Mobile 5.0.
- Ojo Video Mail: Motorola said they would be introducing a new video answer machine service to their Ojo video phones. It will allow people to record a video greeting for incoming calls and callers will be able to leave video messages as well.
- ROKR: This upcoming family of mobile phones, as reported by PhoneScoop, will include mobiles that offer dedicated music keys, an optimized digital music player, greater audio quality, better memory storage options and longer battery lives.
