Hmm, is this disturbing or is just me? If you’ve set foot in Times Square in recent years, you’ve probably noticed the underwear clad urban cowboy known as the “Naked Cowboy†wandering around entertaining folks with songs and picture taking ops. If you haven’t gotten enough of him through that, be happy than that mobile entertainment provider Flycell is bringing him to your cell phone.
That’s right – FlyCell has teamed with the Naked Cowboy. He will be featured in mobile wallpaper and in ringtones that include parts of his songs, according to a FlyCell press release. The company and the cowboy will share in the monies of those (insert your favorite adjective hear) persons who choose to load the content to their phones.
“The Naked Cowboy is representative of the urban artistic diversity of New York, where freedom of expression takes some very interesting turns,” said Alberto Montesi, chief executive officer of Flycell. “Our vision of mobile entertainment is in line with that right to be different and follow your own inspiration. To that end, we are proud to feature the Naked Cowboy’s ringtones and look forward to more collaboration in the future.”
