Nokia And The Cloud Sign DealMobile handset company Nokia has signed a deal with wireless broadband provider The Cloud that will give customers access to the Nokia Music Store at any of the7,500 hotspots run by The Cloud in the UK.   The free access is through a laptop or a limited number of Nokia phones, including the Nokia N81 and Nokia N958GB. The track cost about $1.60 each, and entire album are around $16. But for $16 a month, users can buy a streaming subscription.   Owen Geddes, Director of Business Development for The Cloud,said,   "If I am out and about and I hear a track in a shop or a friend recommends something, I want to be able to download it immediately – not wait until I get home. It is thisimmediacy that The Cloud caters for. The high speed connectivity of Wi-Fi means it is the only real choice for consumers wanting fast and easy access to all types of multimedia content on the go. TheCloud is committed to partnering with the key innovators in mobile media such as Nokia to bring the most entertaining services to users of The Cloud network.”   Richard Sandford, theRegional Manager, Nokia Music UK & Ireland, added,   "We are committed to offering the best possible experience for Nokia Music Store users. Browsing and downloading tracks over Wi-Fiwith The Cloud is a great way to enjoy the Nokia Music Store, in an easy and cost effective way".   The Nokia Music Store currently has about two million tracks, and is looking to be amajor competitor for iTunes.
