If you were saving up for a 16GB OnePlus 2, here’s some potentially bad news: That version of OnePlus’ flagship smartphone is no longer being sold in its North American and European online stores.

“According to feedback we have seen much greater interest in the 64GB version of the OnePlus 2 in North America and Europe, so we have removed the 16GB version from those store pages as of this week,” a OnePlus spokesperson told TechRadar. “We will continue to offer the 16GB version in limited markets such as India, where customers are more interested in an option for different amounts of storage.”

This is yet another sign that 16GB just isn’t enough for the majority of smartphone owners these days. Nevertheless, the announcement may be a bummer to price-conscious consumers who were willing to sacrifice storage and convenience for a lower price tag. The OnePlus 2 was $329 in the U.S.

Price-sensitive shoppers who are beholden to OnePlus phones now have to decide between spending $389 on a 64GB OnePlus 2 or a $249 for a 16GB OnePlus X.

There is, of course, a growing field of affordable smartphones that offer competitive specs.

Buying a new smartphone is always a gamble in terms of customer satisfaction — mainly because they cost so much and can be so different from the device that the buyer is currently using.

To combat this, OnePlus is giving customers the chance to try the OnePlus 11 entirely risk-free. Starting today, the company is running the "100 Days No Regret" program, which allows OnePlus 11 buyers to use the new flagship for up to 100 days and still be eligible to return it for a full refund.

“Our first foldable phone will have the signature OnePlus fast and smooth experience. It must be a flagship phone that doesn’t settle because of its folding form, in terms of industrial design, mechanical technology, and other aspects.
