Need a cheap tablet? This Samsung is the one to buy today

This year’s Prime Day has come to an end but if you’re searching for a cheap tablet, you still have time to grab Samsung’s latest Galaxy Tab S6 Lite — which at its discounted $279 rate is the best option in its category right now. On top of that, Samsung is bundling a complimentary $60 S Pen stylus making this an absolute no-brainer for sketching or taking notes on the go. If this deal isn’t convincing enough, you can always check out the Black Friday tablet deals for more options.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 Lite does a lot more than most of its peers at this price. For starters, you’ll find a 10.4-inch 1080p screen that offers vibrant colors and has minimal bezels. Pair that with Dolby Atmos-compatible stereo speakers and you’ve got yourself an ideal machine for entertainment.

Despite the low price, the Tab S6 Lite houses plenty of power too. It runs on an octa-core processor, 4GB of RAM, and 64GB of onboard storage which you can further expand via a microSD card. It can also last about a full day on a single charge and supports fast-charging over a USB Type-C port. Further, the Samsung Tab S6 Lite comes equipped with a decent set of cameras: An 8-megapixel sensor on the back and a 5-megapixel one for selfies and video calls.

The included stylus’ precise input allows you to use it for everything from jotting down notes to signing documents. Plus, the Tab S6 Lite is compatible with Samsung’s keyboard accessory if you’d like to get some work done on it as well. Samsung is also throwing in a complementary 4-month subscription to YouTube’s ad-free Premium service.

The Samsung Tab S6 Lite is currently available for $70 less on Amazon bringing its regular $350 price down to $279. With this discount, the Tab S6 Lite manages to undercut its competitors like the iPad, while still offering more features and better hardware. But in case it doesn’t tick all the boxes for you, there are loads of more Prime Day tablet deals — and non-Prime Day tablet deals — you can still shop.
