It’s raining smartphones! The Samsung Galaxy Note 4, Note 4 Edge, Sony Xperia Z3, and a slew of other smartphones just launched at IFA and now Apple is set to launch the iPhone 6 at a September 9 event in San Francisco. With all these new devices flooding the market, many users are considering trading in their old smartphones. In response, T-Mobile is offering a new trade-in promotion.

If you find out that Verizon, AT&T, or Sprint will offer you more for your old smartphone, the Uncarrier will not only match that trade-in value, but also give you an extra $50. Of course, this only applies to trade-in values from other carriers, so if you find a better deal on eBay, Gazelle, or the Apple Store, you’d best go with that instead.

The offer begins on September 17, which is, coincidentally, the day after many expect Apple to start selling the iPhone 6 in stores, and will only be available for a limited time. The offer applies to all smartphone models, including the iPhone and Samsung’s smartphones.

Customers who want to take advantage of the promotion just have to call T-Mobile or visit the company’s website within seven days after they’ve traded their old smartphone in at a T-Mobile store and say where, when, and how much more another carrier will pay for their old smartphone. Once the information has been verified, T-Mobile will send customers the price difference plus $50 as a credit on their bill within 2-3 billing cycles.
