If the coming of spring fills you with more dread over tax season than anticipation of flowers and birdsong, fret no longer. The Internet has a solution for you. With the on-demand revolution, even filing your taxes no longer has to feel like a torturous process, at least according to Taxfyle. Branded as the Uber for accountants, this digital service allows you to simply snap a picture of your tax documents, then send them off to a licensed CPA who will prepare and file your tax return within seven days. See? Told you it wasn’t so bad.

Promising to undercut other more popular tax preparation services like H&R Block and TurboTax by up to 60 percent, Taxfyle claims not only to be the easiest solution around, but one of the cheapest as well. And thanks to its impressive roster of 300 licensed tax experts, Taxfyle assures users that when it comes to the IRS, there’s nothing to worry about.

Rather than wading through pages and pages of DIY software, Taxfyle offers an alternative comprised of just 10 clicks and a photo (and starts at $49). To get your taxes filed (and maybe even some money back from the government), simply download Taxfyle from the Apple App store, take photos of your forms (or skip that step for now), answer a few yes or no questions, then receive your quote. If you agree to the price, you’ll have a personal CPA whose commitment to you is a full tax filing within a week. Better still, the app notes, customers are automatically enrolled into the Taxfyle full audit protection plan.

“Tax season can be one of the most stressful times of the year, and it’s exactly when Americans need the guidance of an experienced tax professional, which Taxfyle delivers with the press of a button,” says Taxfyle cofounder and CEO Richard Lavina.

But you won’t be sacrificing precision for efficiency, Taxfyle goes on to say. “All of our CPAs are vetted and verified, so every time you file with Taxfyle you can trust you’re getting the best possible return,” Lavina added.

So if you’re looking for a way to alleviate all that tax anxiety, Taxfyle may be the solution you’ve been dreaming of.

I record interviews for work. These are my favorite free recorder apps

Before you head to the app store on your phone to buy a voice-recording app, take a moment to consider the apps that may already be installed on your phone. Why? In my experience, they're likely all you really need. I’ve recorded interviews and voice-overs for work for years, and I’ve found the two best examples come preinstalled on your phone already, so they’re entirely free to use.

Google Pixel Tablet just got its first big discount and it’s worth a look
Google Pixel Tablet on its charging dock.

Tablets are a dime-a-dozen these days, with offerings from all the great brands including Apple, Samsung, Lenovo, and more. So, if you really want to stand out in a sea of similar tech, you need to do things a little differently. That's what Google's Pixel Tablet offers. How? It comes with a unique speaker dock that can be used to both charge the device and offer room-filling sound -- almost like a smart speaker add-on. Better yet, when your Pixel Tablet is docked it benefits from the Hub Mode, turning the device into a smart display, with digital photo frame support, smart home controls, and hands-free Google functionality. Of course, it could set you back at full price, normally $499 unless you find it included in a roundup of the best Google Pixel deals. Well, guess what? Thanks to a Best Buy Google Pixel Tablet deal, you can get it today for $439 and save $60. Hurry, though, it's part of Best Buy's recent 48-hour sale so it won't stick around for long.

Why you should buy the Google Pixel Tablet
Okay, okay, so in our Google Pixel Tablet review, Joe Maring did give it less than stellar remarks, but he called out its reliable fingerprint sensor, comfortability during use and excellent speaker dock. Honestly, how many tablets come with a matching speaker dock that transforms the entire experience? This tablet also marks a "lot of firsts" for Google, as it's the first tablet from the company in nearly five years, the first Android tablet in eight years, and can be converted into a smart home display with the speaker dock. All of which are notable milestones.
