After all, with no shortage of options, things can feel pretty overwhelming. We’ll help you enjoy making your purchase by taking out the hassle. Read on while we take you through everything.

Google Pixel 7 — $500, was $600

The first of our Black Friday phone deals is the very delightful Google Pixel 7, a phone we’ve already declared one of the best phones of 2022. The water-resistant Pixel 7 has a 6.3-inch screen, runs on Android 13, and uses the Google Tensor G2 processor. By default, you can grab it with 128GB of memory, but feel free to go for the 256GB or 512GB versions to boost your power; they aren’t that much more expensive. Additionally, as we mention in our Google Pixel 7 review, the phone’s camera is absolutely fantastic. The 50-megapixel main camera creates “vibrant, balanced, and visually punchy photos” via optical image stabilization (OIS) and overall excellent handling of lighting. Plus, get cool bonus features like live language translation and great security from the Titan M2 security chip built right into the phone. Don’t forget to get one of the best Pixel 7 cases and covers when you pick up yours today!

Google Pixel 7 Pro — $749, was $899

It is one of those Black Friday deals that you would be a fool to miss. The Google Pixel 7 Pro is a phone known for its wonderful capabilities as a camera, with a 50MP main camera, 12MP ultrawide, and 48MP telephoto cam. You can actually zoom up to 30x with the thing and still achieve quality photos. While there have been spots of criticism for the phone, there are also strong Pixel 7 Pro advocates that enjoy the phone immensely. And why not? The Google Pixel 7 Pro has a beautiful 6.7-inch screen, displaying in 1440p at 120Hz. Overall, comparing the Pixel 7 Pro and the Pixel 7, you can see that the Pixel 7 Pro is the superior choice and — being so new — holds a very special place amongst the Black Friday phone deals on display today.

Google Pixel 6a — $299, was $449

A man takes a selfie with his Google Pixel 6a.

Next, we have the Pixel 6a, a phone that has always given a lot of value for the dollar, even when not on sale. For example, it uses the same Titan M2 chip that the big boys in the Google Pixel 7 lineup use today but in a body that is a fraction of the cost. Yet still, the 6.1-inch screen is powered by OLED tech and full high-definition plus resolution. Its predecessor, the Google Pixel 5a, made a place amongst the best cheap phones for the incredible software it packs at a low price. Yet now, as part of Black Friday phone deals, you can get the even better power of the Pixel 6a for an even lower price. So, if you aren’t enticed by the newest 7 line, this remains your best bet to snag a Pixel phone this year.

Samsung Galaxy Z Fold4 — $1,470, was $1,920

It’s a real blast from cell phone past. A flip phone, here in the year 2022. However, the Galaxy Z Fold4 also happens to be a fantastic phone in its own right. The best flip phones of the modern era are way different than what you grew up with, with every surface being usable and touchable. Even the cover screen is usable on the Galaxy Z Fold4, meaning you can use it in whatever configuration feels most comfortable for you. In fact, the 12GB of RAM and powerful Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor will make you feel like you’re a part of the future with this phone, not hanging onto the past!

Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra — $975, was $1,200

In one of the year’s most-anticipated Samsung Black Friday deals, you now have an opportunity to get the Galaxy S22 Ultra at a very special price. The longstanding greatness of the Galaxy series is completely upheld, with our Galaxy S22 Ultra review simply calling it “the most multipurpose smartphone you can buy today.” Regarded as rather futureproof — we don’t think you’ll want a phone for several years after making this purchase — the Galaxy S22 Ultra has a 6.8-inch, 1440p AMOLED screen with a top-tier 120Hz refresh rate. The inclusion of HDR10+ will make it practically like a miniature TV for your hands. Want to use it like the discontinued Note phones? It comes with a smart pen, so you can do it all! Combine this with Samsung’s 4nm processor (the fastest ever on a Galaxy brand phone), and you have a recipe for the best Android phone.

Samsung Galaxy Z Flip4 — $860, was $1,060

Next is the Galaxy Z Flip4, a flip phone for the rest of us. You’ll find great hardware at an affordable price, including a Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 processor and 8GB of RAM. The Galaxy Z Flip4 differs from the Galaxy Z Fold4 by flipping from top to bottom like the real classics used to. If you enjoy the way the compact design of a true flip-style phone fits in your pocket, you’ll be happy to note that our Galaxy Z Flip4 review deemed it “the best damn version” of the style you can get. And when you flip it open to see its 6.7-inch AMOLED screen with 1080p and HDR10+ support, you’ll probably be able to figure out why on your own!

Motorola Moto G Stylus — $180, was $300

The stylus is on its way back, and not just with expensive products like the Galaxy S22 Ultra. No, for under $200, you can get the Moto G Stylus, a phone that gives you a 6.8-inch display, has 5G network compatibility, and has a built-in stylus. With its water-repellant design protecting it from spills and light rain, you can really think of this phone as a hardcore survivor. While it didn’t make our list of the best rugged phones, for those that need to work in the field or around dirty equipment, it should not be dismissed quickly. Muddy fingers from digging up your new garden but want to take some notes on your phone? You’ve got the stylus! No more muddy, greasy streaks across your phone!

OnePlus 10 Pro — $550, was $800

Another one of the Black Friday phone deals that you need to take a look at is the OnePlus 10 Pro. Take a listen at some of these stats: 6.7-inch AMOLED screen with a 1440p resolution and 120Hz refresh rate, complete with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor and multi-cams including a 50MP ultrawide and 8MP telephoto. This is the hardware of a very expensive phone, is it not? Well, with the OnePlus 10 Pro, it really isn’t. It is nearly half the price, but the OnePlus 10 Pro and Galaxy S22 Ultra comparison isn’t so one-sided as it might seem once you factor in current pricing. Our best phones of 2022 listing refers to the OnePlus 10 Pro as a “worthy runner up,” and the sentiment is even more valid with today’s markdowns.

Samsung Galaxy A53 5G — $350, was $450

Here’s a safe bet phone for you, the Galaxy A53 5G, which we’ve previously called “reasonably priced, reliable, pretty, and capable.” Frankly, that’s what a lot of us seek in a smartphone. Something capable that will get us through the day, let us snap a cute photo of the dog doing something funny to send to a friend, and then forget about. Of course, it is a great phone in its own right, sporting a 6.5-inch AMOLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate and an HD resolution. A 64-megapixel main camera and two-day battery life isn’t anything to sneeze at either. In fact, so long as you aren’t a mobile gamer demanding top-tier levels of performance and zero lag, you should consider granting the very fairly priced Galaxy A53 5G a home in your pocket.

Straight Talk Apple iPhone SE (2020) — $99, was $149

The 2020 model of the Apple iPhone SE against a white background.

We’re finally getting to Apple Black Friday deals with a very interesting offer from Walmart. They’re offering an Apple iPhone SE (2020) for just $99. But there’s an unusual catch! You have to use the Straight Talk pay-as-you-go service with the phone to use it. While that might sound like a punishment, it truly isn’t, as Straight Talk is amongst the best prepaid phone plans in the country. There are no hidden fees or extra costs that will surprise you later. As they say, you get what you pay for, except this time, it turns out to be quite OK. As for the phone itself, the iPhone SE (2020) is a bit on the smaller side with a 4.7-inch screen that uses a 750p resolution. The phone uses 3GB of RAM and comes with 64GB of storage. We know this is one of the more unusual Black Friday phone deals and won’t be for everyone, so do check out more iPhone Black Friday deals if you aren’t ready to be locked into Straight Talk just yet.

Motorola Moto G Pure (Tracfone) -- $50, was $60

The low price of the Motorola Moto G Pure doesn't mean that it's an unreliable smartphone, as it offers a surprisingly decent 13MP camera for an entry-level model for daytime shots, in addition to a nice water-repellent design. The device is powered by an octa-core processor with HyperEngine, offers storage of 32GB, and comes with Android 11.0 out of the box, but it will only work with a Tracfone prepaid plan.

Apple iPad (64GB, Wi-Fi, 7th Gen) -- $220, was $249

This Apple iPad 7th generation might not be very new anymore but thanks to Apple supporting its products for a while to come, it remains a good option for those wanting to keep costs down. This particular model is refurbished so it's had a previous owner but has since been restored to excellent quality, just like if you bought it new. It offers a 10.2-inch Retina display with a 2160 x 1620 resolution, Apple A10 Fusion chip, and a massive 128GB of storage space. It also has a 8MP camera although it's best suited for occasional snaps or video calls rather than pure photography. It's a great introduction to tablets if you want something iPadOS based without spending a lot.

iPad 7th generation hands-on holding in horizontal mode

If you don't mind purchasing refurbished stock that looks like new, Walmart has one of the best iPad deals today. Right now, you can buy the Apple iPad 7th generation for only $200 saving you $49 off the usual price. Of course, it's a refurbished unit but Walmart promises that it works and looks like new so you're not missing out on anything other than spending more cash. It's an older model but thanks to Apple supporting iPads for a long time, you'll be fine. Here's a deeper look at what to expect from your new acquisition.

Why you should buy the Apple iPad
The Apple iPad 7th generation was launched back in 2019. Four years old, it's still reasonably powerful if you don't mind a few concessions in exchange for owning an iPadOS-based tablet. It's powered by the A10 Fusion processor that was seen in the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus. It can still handle plenty of multitasking so there are no concerns there, although we'd recommend this as a tablet for someone who doesn't mind being a few steps behind technologically. After all, this isn't one of the best tablets anymore, but it's ideal for entertainment purposes.
