The final trailer for Batman V. Superman shows the epic battle we’re in for

With the impending premiere of Batman V. Superman: Dawn of Justice in just a few weeks, Warner Bros. Pictures has released the final trailer for the much-anticipated brawl between the two DC Comics super stars.

The latest preview not only gives new Wonder Woman actress Gal Gadot a few lines, but it also features more action to accompany all of the grim-and-gritty happenings that the trailer teases — including some pretty epic footage of Batman being Batman as he takes down a horde of villains by exploding through the floor beneath them. In fact, there’s quite a lot of new footage in the final trailer involving both Ben Affleck’s Batman, and Henry Cavill’s Superman.

Directed by Zack Snyder, Batman V. Superman pits the two iconic superheroes against each other in the aftermath of the events of Man of Steel, in which Superman’s battle with Zod (Michael Shannon) killed countless innocents and leveled at least one major city, Metropolis. Although Superman seemingly ended the threat presented by Zod and his soldiers with what appeared to be a very permanent solution, the ramifications of their destructive battle changed countless lives — including that of Batman’s alter ego, Bruce Wayne.

The film has Affleck’s Batman challenging Cavill’s angsty, god-like Superman, while also introducing several new additions to WB’s cinematic universe based on DC Comics characters. Along with Gadot as Wonder Woman, the film will also feature Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor, Jeremy Irons as Alfred Pennyworth, Holly Hunter in a mysterious role created for the film, and Jason Momoa as Aquaman.

Batman V. Superman will also bring back several cast members from Man of Steel, including Amy Adams as Lois Lane, Laurence Fishburne as Perry White, and Diane Lane as Martha Kent.

With a script penned by Chris Terrio (Argo) and based on a screenplay by Man of Steel screenwriter David S. Goyer, Batman V. Superman: Dawn of Justice is scheduled to hit theaters March 25.

Epic v. Apple case shows just how much of the App Store’s money comes from games
App store icon showing three notifications.

Over the course of the Epic v. Apple case, much has come to light about how both companies generate profit. One of the biggest shocks comes from the closing ruling of the case, which reveals that 70% of the App Store's money comes from games.

This lawsuit was brought by Epic Games in August 2020. The general gist of the case is that Epic added a payment system to Fortnite mobile that allowed players to avoid an extra 30% fee usually applied to App Store purchases, which goes to Apple. In response to the workaround, Apple removed Fortnite from its marketplace, which prompted Epic to take the matter to court.

Superman goes rogue in first trailer for DC’s Injustice movie
Wonder Woman and Superman in Injustice.

Between The Boys and Invincible, the evil Superman clone trope is getting a little old -- but that doesn't mean it isn't compelling when the Man of Steel falls from grace. The Injustice: Gods Among Us video game showed fans a world where Superman was driven mad from grief after Joker tricked him into murdering his wife, Lois Lane, and their unborn child. In response, Superman killed Joker and resolved to protect the world by any means necessary, even if that meant he had to rule the planet himself.

IGN has debuted the first trailer for Injustice, the upcoming animated film that delivers an adaptation of the events mentioned above. It also reminds fans that the entire city of Metropolis was destroyed as part of the Joker's "masterpiece," but the Clown Prince of Crime is going to get more than he bargained for by enraging the Last Son of Krypton.
