Check out these pics of Daredevil Season 2 shooting in New York

daredevil season 2 shooting in new york
In the first season of Netflix’s Daredevil, the show took fans to a darker corner of the Marvel universe — and boy did it pay off. The show skyrocketed to the top of the streaming services list of highest-rated shows, surpassing Sherlock, House of Cards, and even the beloved Breaking Bad.

Given that sort of success, execs and fans alike are itching to get Season 2 underway.

While that won’t happen until April of 2016, multiple outlets are reporting that filming is underway and there are even a few leaked screenshots to buzz about.

Photographer Shelly Kay snapped these production stills in New York, which show Matt Murdock (Charlie Cox) and Foggy Nelson (Elden Henson) roaming the city that never sleeps. While there’s not much to glean from these photos plot-wise, they’re certainly enough to whet fans’ appetites in anticipation.

For those hoping to catch a peek of Punisher — who is said to be featured prominently in Season 2 — you’ll have to wait a bit longer. Played by Jon Bernthal, the popular antihero is nowhere to be seen in these pictures. With production started, however, we’re sure to get a glimpse of Mr. Frank Castle shortly.

As for the rest of the cast, Rosario Dawson (Claire Temple), and Deborah Ann Woll (Karen Page) are slated to reprise their roles for the follow-up campaign, while Vincent D’Onfrio’s Wilson Fisk has yet to be confirmed.

We could also see some new recurring characters brought into the fold, as there have been whispers of both Elektra and Bullseye making their debuts in Season 2. Of course, that’s still highly speculative since those roles haven’t been officially cast.

Either way, we’re excited to see if Daredevil can continue to steamroll across the streaming TV landscape. While maintaining success can be a tougher trick than having it in the first place, we don’t sense that a Sophomore slump is in the cards for Netflix’s superhero hit.

Manifest season 4, part 2 trailer teases final episodes
A man stands next to a woman in Manifest.

"Now, we're finally at the end," Ben Stone (Once Upon a Time's Josh Dallas) tells the survivors of Flight 828 in the opening moments of the new Manifest trailer. The show is also reaching its conclusion as the final 10 episodes of Manifest season 4, part 2 will serve as the series finale.

"In the aftermath of Angelina (The Americans' Holly Taylor) unleashing a volcanic fissure, the passengers face severe scrutiny in a world fueled by 828er hate, no longer free to solve their own Callings without constant supervision by the unscrupulous 828 Registry," the official synopsis reads.

House of the Dragon season 2: Everything we know so far
Alicent and Rhaenyra clutch each other in House of the Dragon.

While it may not be coming this year, long-time Game of Thrones fans are already eagerly anticipating the return of House of the Dragon. The show became a genuine phenomenon in its first season, which told the story of the friendship between Rhaenyra Targaryen and Alicent Hightower as it soured into what would eventually become an all-out civil war.
HBO renewed the show for a second season almost as soon as the first season began airing, and we already know plenty about where the show will be headed when it returns.
This post does not contain any spoilers for the show’s second season, but it is informed by Fire & Blood, the Targaryen history by George R.R. Martin that the series is adapted from, and will obviously continue to focus on the conflict between Rhaenyra and her younger half-brother Aegon as they battle for control of the Iron Throne.

What will happen in season 2 of House of the Dragon?
House Of The Dragon | Official Teaser | HBO Max
Without delving into spoilers, the second season of the show is expected to pick up soon after the first season left off. Fans of the show will likely recall that that season ended with Aemond Targaryen’s dragon inadvertently attacking and killing Rhaenyra’s son Lucerys and his dragon. Lucerys’s death is what ultimately brings what had been a simmering conflict closer to a boil, and leads to a much greater level of death and destruction.
We also know, thanks to an interview with one of the show’s writers, that a moment known to fans as Blood and Cheese will be included on the show. The exact details of that moment are best left to the imagination, but suffice it to say that it’s a moment likely to leave many fans talking.
