Everyone is after Pablo Escobar in Netflix's new 'Narcos' season 2 trailer

Netflix has made no secret of the fact that Pablo Escobar’s death will be part of season 2 of the crime series Narcos, but knowing the outcome doesn’t take away from the suspenseful, action-packed story. In fact, the streamer has embraced the mystery of who actually killed the infamous drug kingpin, and that is the focal point of the latest trailer.

The preview kicks off with Escobar’s escape from prison and the aftermath of his renewed freedom. Life outside prison is clearly far from safe for a man with so many enemies, though. “Now that Pablo was home, everyone wanted payback,” we’re told during the trailer.

As history indicates, the threats to Escobar in the final months of his life were very real (hence his death), but the trailer really drives that point home. We see multiple groups with their sights set on him, including the DEA, the Cali Cartel, Los Pepes, and the Search Bloc. Each group seems to be working a different angle, and the preview is full of threats, shootouts, explosions, and heart-pumping action. As we’re told, Escobar’s “days are numbered,” and it looks like each one will be a battle.

Netflix also revealed new Narcos season 2 key art, a creative image that shows Escobar’s likeness formed in bullets. With a single bullet removed and pointing to his forehead, it reminds viewers of his fate, both in real life and the TV series. The accompanying tweet also alludes to his death and the question of who was responsible.

And Just Like That… season 2, episode 1 release date, time, channel, and plot
Miranda, Carrie, and Charlotte looking excited in ...And Just Like That.

After six successful seasons and two movies, the Sex and the City universe expanded with the addition of And Just Like That..., which serves as a sequel and series revival. Premiering in 2021, And Just Like That... reintroduced the world to Carrie Bradshaw (Sarah Jessica Parker), Miranda Hobbes (Cynthia Nixon), and Charlotte York (Kristin Davis), three of the leading women in Sex and the City. The original series focused on the friendship, sex lives, and social issues of these then-thirtysomethings living in New York City.

And Just Like That..., however, picks up 11 years after Sex and the City 2, with Carrie, Miranda, and Charlotte all in their 50s. Despite the fact that they're older, the same friendship, fashion, and relationship drama are still as present as ever. And Just Like That... became Max's most-watched series debut at the time of its December 2021 premiere. Originally conceived as a miniseries, the overwhelming popularity led to a season 2 renewal.
