ghostbusters reboot character names
Ghostbusters reboot director Paul Feig has already treated us to a few glimpses of his upcoming movie, but this is the best one yet: A full shot of the new squad in costume. From left to right, you can see Leslie Jones, Melissa McCarthy, Kristen Wiig, and Kate McKinnon ready for action.

Feig’s tweet came after a number of unofficial pictures made the rounds on the NeoGAF forum — the director was probably tempted into action as those leaked shots included a similar cast shot as well as pictures of a Ghostbusters-branded motorcycle and the new Ecto-1 car.

We didn’t get any new information with the tweet, but it gives us our best idea yet of what the Ghostbusters reboot is going to look like when it hits screens on July 22 next year. Filming began last month in Boston so we’ve got a long stretch of leaks and promotion ahead of us.

Alongside the main Ghostbusters team, the film features Neil Casey, Andy García, Michael K. Williams, Matt Walsh, Cecily Strong, Pat Kiernan, and Thor actor Chris Hemsworth as the receptionist in the Ghostbusters office. The new instalment in the franchise will arrive a little over 32 years after the first movie came out.

The original Ghostbusters — starring Bill Murray, Dan Aykroyd, Harold Ramis, and Ernie Hudson — was one of the biggest hits of the ’80s, raking in close to $300 million in worldwide box office receipts and getting two Academy Award nominations along the way. A sequel followed in 1989.

That’s a big act for Feig and his gang to follow, but judging by this official photo they’re up for the challenge. What do you think of the look of the 21st-century Ghostbusters? Will the film be a hit or a miss this time next year? Let us know your thoughts in the comments.

Scott Adkins on his new sequel to the cult action hit Accident Man
Scot Adkins looks down from the camera as he stars as the Accident Man

Scott Adkins is becoming a bona fide action hero. Throughout his career, he's starred in films like Day Shift and The Expendables 2, as well as Marvel movies like Doctor Strange and X-Men Origins: Wolverine. He's even about to star in the upcoming Keanu Reeves-led John Wick: Chapter 4. But his most recent film is a personal passion project.

In 2018. he adapted the comic Accident Man into a feature film. The movie (and comic) centers around Mike Fallon, the "Accident Man", a trained hit man who is an expert at making his kills appear to be simple accidents. Infused with violence, bold colors, and humor, the movie felt like it had been injected with tones of Kingsman, Crank, and Deadpool. Now, a follow-up, Accident Man: Hitman's Holiday, is releasing in theaters and on video on demand on October 14. In a conversation with Digital Trends, Adkins talks about balancing action scenes and comedy, how Deadpool helped pave the way for Accident Man, and whether or not Mike Fallon will ever battle John Wick on-screen.

New phishing method looks just like the real thing, but it steals your passwords
A MacBook with Google Chrome loaded.

Thanks to a new phishing method, hackers could steal all sorts of personal information by simply mimicking real login forms in Application Mode. This is a feature that's available in all Chromium-based browsers, which includes Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, and Brave.

Using Application Mode allows threat actors to spread highly believable-looking local login forms that look like desktop applications. In reality, all inputs are sent to a malicious attacker.

Amazon held its big September hardware event today and saved the best for last, as TV enthusiasts might say, with an update to its latest TV lineup. The Fire TV Omni QLED Series features improved picture quality and a motion-sensing "ambient" experience that can trigger a whole range of new on-screen features.

Upping the ante from the original Omni series' LED panels, the new Omni QLEDs now include Quantum Dot technology for better brightness and color, plus full-array local dimming for improved contrast, as well as support for Dolby Vision IQ that senses the ambient light in the room and adjusts the screen brightness accordingly. Amazon's new TVs also add HDR10+ Adaptive support, as well as Auto Low Latency mode and Variable Refresh Rate (VRR) for gamers.
