Marvel’s friendly neighborhood web-slinger returns to the big screen exactly one year from yesterday (July 7), and Spider-Man: Homecoming star Tom Holland marked the occasion with a sky-high photo of himself in costume on the set of the film.

The photo features Holland in his Spidey suit high above the ground as the crew of Homecoming looks on far below him. He also offers up Spider-Man’s signature web-shooting pose with one hand as he celebrates reaching the one-year mark before the film’s arrival in theaters.

Posted on Holland’s Instagram account, the photo is captioned, “1 Year until #spidermanhomecoming hits theaters, are you ready … thought you would like to see a little selfie I took earlier.”

After making his debut as both Peter Parker and his costumed alter ego in this year’s Captain America: Civil War, Holland goes solo in the 2017 film intended to bring the character fully into Marvel’s cinematic universe.

Marisa Tomei, who also appeared in Civil War as Peter’s Aunt May, reprises her role for Homecoming. She’s joined by Michael Keaton as the film’s unidentified villain (rumored to be The Vulture), Logan Marshall-Green as a mysterious, secondary villain, Kenneth Choi as the principal of Peter’s school, and pop musician Zendaya as a character named Michelle. Robert Downey Jr. is also expected to make a cameo as Tony Stark, and actors Donald Glover, Martin Starr, Michael Barbieri, Laura Harrier, Tony Revolori, Hannibal Burress, Michael Mando, and Angourie Rice are also rumored for unidentified roles in the film.

Spider-Man: Homecoming is directed by Cop Car filmmaker Jon Watts from a script by Vacation writers John Francis Daley and Jonathan Goldstein. The movie is currently filming in Atlanta.

Set to debut in both standard and IMAX theaters, Spider-Man: Homecoming is scheduled to premiere July 7, 2017.

Nicolas Cage is one of the most recognizable movie stars of the last 40 years. However, the Oscar winner is taking his talents to the small screen for Amazon's Noir, a live-action series based on the Marvel comic Spider-Man Noir.

Per Amazon, Cage will star as the titular Spider-Man Noir, "an aging and down-on-his-luck private investigator (Cage) in 1930s New York, who is forced to grapple with his past life as the city’s one and only superhero." Cage famously voiced Peter Parker/Spider-Man Noir in Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse. Noir will be the first time the character has been portrayed in a live-action adaptation.
