Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt is back in hilarious new trailer for season 2

Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt Season 2 - Official Trailer - Netflix [HD]
Viewers will soon be getting more of the colorful, naive, and super-cute Kimmy Schmidt as the official trailer has been released for the second season of Netflix original series Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt.

Set to debut on the streaming site on April 15, Kimmy (played by Ellie Kemper) continues her quest to “get her life back on track” following her escape from an underground bunker where she was kept captive for 15 years by a madman (played hilariously, and ironically, by Mad Men’s Jon Hamm.)

Returning is her eccentric, flamboyant, scene-stealing roommate Titus Andromedon (played by Tituss Burgess), former boss and aspiring trophy wife Jacqueline Voorhees (Jane Krakowski), and clueless landlord Lillian Kaushtupper (Carol Kane).

Still in New York City, Kimmy gets a job working in a store that sells Christmas goodies all year ‘round, continues her education, and hopelessly attempts to pick up a cute guy she sees in a restaurant she “went in to pee.” In one scene, it appears one of her former bunkmates gets accidentally high on “nose candy” with some Sesame Street characters.

There’s plenty to see in the 1:43 trailer for the hit show, which was created by the 30 Rock team of Tina Fey and Robert Carlock. Fey appeared in the first season as a clueless Marcia Clark-inspired lawyer fighting on behalf of Kimmy against her former captor.

While the series covers a serious subject – young girls being kidnapped and held against their will has sadly happened far too often in real life – it does so in a light and humorous way, while somehow managing not to be offensive. The show focuses on rebirth, as Kimmy attempts to make up for lost time in one of the most glamorous cities in the world.

Season two will bring 13 more episodes to life, as we follow Kimmy’s journey back into the real world, and all the good, bad, silliness, and sadness that comes with it.

Glass Onion trailer unveils a new Knives Out murder mystery
Daniel Craig in Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery.

In the original Knives Out, the film established that Daniel Craig's Benoit Blanc was a world-famous detective from the moment he was first shown on screen. In the first of two Netflix-produced sequels, Blanc will return to theaters later this month in Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery. And unlike the previous movie, Blanc is a part of the mystery from the very first moment.

Elizabeth Debicki in The Crown.

The real Queen Elizabeth II died earlier this year, but the fictionalized retelling of her life continues in Netflix's breakout hit, The Crown. The upcoming fifth season jumps ahead to the '90s, which was a very pivotal time for the British royal family. It also throws the spotlight on Diana, Princess of Wales (Elizabeth Debicki), the woman who usurped Queen Elizabeth's place in the hearts and minds of her subjects. The marriage of Diana and Prince Charles (Dominic West) was a storybook moment in the '80s. But as you can see in the trailer below, the time for fairy tale endings is over. And Diana won't go quietly.
