It should shock nobody that Floyd Mayweather is the strong favorite to win this fight, and Logan Paul will be doing his ring walk as the clear underdog. The YouTube icon’s boxing experience is limited to two matches, both against rapper and internet personality KSI, one of which was a draw followed by Paul losing the rematch via split decision. That has nonetheless not stopped him from verbally sparring with Mayweather on Twitter and Instagram, although considering the two camps have allegedly been arranging this fight for a couple months behind the scenes, it’s likely that at least some of that social media back-and-forth is intended to drum up hype for the event.

Floyd Mayweather, for his part, needs no introduction to fight fans and is widely regarded as one of the best (if not the best) boxers of all time. The 43-year-old boasts an undefeated record with 50 wins and 15 major world championship titles across five weight classes. His last professional fight was a 2017 victory over MMA star Conor McGregor, and in 2019, Mayweather fought and won an exhibition match against Japanese kickboxer Tenshin Nasukawa.

All that said, this fight might not be as one-sided as it first appears, even if the betting odds are strongly favoring Mayweather. As an exhibition match, this bout is not subject to typical weight class restrictions, and Logan Paul, standing at six feet and two inches tall, has a considerable size advantage over the five-foot-eight, 150-pound Mayweather. Floyd is also technically retired, and at age 43, he’s almost two decades older than Paul. Only time will tell if this will be enough for the YouTube and social media star to actually issue Mayweather his first defeat to pull off what would be the upset of the decade.

The Floyd Mayweather vs. Logan Paul exhibition match will take place on February 20 of next year and is a pay-per-view event airing exclusively via Fanmio Boxing. If you plan to stream it live, then now’s the time to grab the Mayweather vs. Paul PPV package for just $25. That price will increase to $40 after one million tickets are sold, then to $60 after December 28th, and finally to $70 on February 11. It’s already selling fast, so act quickly if you want to take advantage of this early pricing.
