First up is Gourmia’s all-new seven-quart digital air fryer. The all-in-one fryer, rotisserie, and dehydrator cuts down on the fat associated with typical fryers while providing the same delicious crispy texture of traditonally fried food. It features 10 different presets to quickly cook up your favorite meals and RadiVection 360-degree technology that guarantees your food will be cooked all the way through. The company claims it’s 30 percent faster than a standard oven and it includes accessories to help in the cooking process.

If you’re looking for some more cooking options, then Gourmia’s 11-in-one Deluxe Multicooker likely has what you need. It features a 6.5-quart pot that is perfect for everything from chili to chicken to yogurt. The cooker has a simple display panel with plenty of presets and adjustable controls so you can get the perfect setup for your meal. It comes with a recipe book to get you started down the path of home-cooked meals.

Finally, if you need something to wash down those meals or get you up in the morning, you can try out Gourmia’s 10-Cup Coffee Maker and Grinder. The built-in grinder makes it easy to ground up your favorite beans and easily transfer them over to the coffee maker. With a programmable timer, LED display, and the ability to keep your coffee warm for 30 minutes, it’s a good option to keep your day going.

All of Gourmia’s new products connect with the company’s mobile kitchen app Mia. The app, which is available through the Google Play Store and Apple App Store, allows you to program the appliances even when you’re away from home. The apps also work with Amazon’s Alexa and the Google Assistant so you can set up your cooking preferences using voice commands. Gourmia’s new appliances expand on the company’s selection of internet-connected devices introduced earlier this year.

The BMind smart mirror installed in a bathroom.

Baracoda may not be as well-known as other smart home brands like Wyze and iRobot, but the health tech company had one of the coolest product reveals at CES 2024 with the BMind Smart Mirror. Designed to improve your mental wellness by identifying your mood and managing stress with AI, the unique product walked away from the show with a 2024 CES Innovation Award.

BMind uses generative AI and natural language processing to determine the user's mood before suggesting various exercises like guided meditation or self-affirmations. Put simply, it'll try to determine your needs based on your voice, posture, and other observable factors. The end goal is to help improve your mood using a variety of exercises, lights, sounds, and visuals -- all of which are carried on board in the mirror.

The Rachio Smart Hose Timer installed on an outdoor spigot.

Installing a smart sprinkler in your yard is a great way to cut down on water waste and lower your utility bills -- but it’s also a pricey (and time-consuming) investment. Rachio is looking to change that, as the company debuted a $99 smart hose timer at CES 2023.

The gadget is surprisingly simple, yet offers impressive versatility. After attaching the smart valve to your existing outdoor spigot, you’ll be able to monitor your water usage, create watering schedules, and use the Rachio app to get detailed stats about how much water you’re saving. And since it connects to your network via Wi-Fi, you can schedule a watering or check its status regardless of where you are.

The GE Profile Smart Mixer with Auto Sense on a kitchen counter.

Smart home appliances are out in force at CES 2023, but few seem to be as intelligent as the GE Profile Smart Mixer with Auto Sense. Designed to make the mixing process as simple as possible, the sleek gadget uses a built-in scale, viscosity measurements, and voice controls to streamline your time in the kitchen. It was also named a CES Innovations Awards Honoree in the Home Appliance category.

The built-in scale is the feature that expert and amateur bakers will most appreciate, as it allows you to add ingredients directly to the mixer without dirtying another bowl. Once you’ve added your ingredients, you can snap on any number of mixing attachments via a simple, one-touch system that allows for fast connections.
